It's amazing how the more you dig, the more details emerge. The rooms of these two best friends also feature a contrast between light and dark in their design.

However, both of their rooms include musical elements—perhaps they share this interest? Or maybe Wreck introduced Nice to music? 🤔

Additionally, Nice’s room also has alcohol. Given his personality, he probably wouldn’t drink alone, so who it’s prepared for goes without saying 😉.

① A fellow enthusiast pointed out: The magnet under the radish fridge magnet appears to be a blue ribbon (or possibly bubble tea?).

Although the explicit little heart doodle from the original artwork is gone, it has been replaced by a hidden fridge magnet instead.

② The room has a skylight above. In Wreck’s memory, the room is bright during the day, and at night, suspended lamps provide lighting. Initially, I guessed this might be the top floor of an apartment building, but the photo wall nearby offers a new perspective (see point ③ below).

I've noticed that the corrupted Smile and the corrupted Zero look very similar—even Graffiti King shares a comparable appearance.

In contrast, Bowa and Luo are different; they are able to revert back to their original forms.

Additionally, Graffiti King appears to still retain some rationality and can follow Mickey's commands. However, most of the deeply fear-corrupted heroes we've seen so far—aside from Split—have been largely uncontrollable, such as Carnival and Smile.

If Spotlight plans to use Graffiti King for Zero experiments, and if fear controllability is successfully and stably achieved, then the Queen will undoubtedly be the next target.

Following MG, DOS now has its own Zero as well.

I initially thought this might be a shared apartment between Nice and Wreck, but looking closer: back when they had just turned 18, even if they made it to the trainee stage, two minors probably earned just enough to get by—where would they get the funds to rent such a large house? And this room seems to be just an entertainment area—already quite spacious, with the full layout still unknown. (An entertainment room with a wine cabinet and a jukebox...)

Then, recalling flashbacks of Nice’s childhood—his family wasn’t well-off, and their home looked nothing like this place.

So, I’ll venture a guess: this is Wreck’s family home.

Take this casual outfit Wreck is wearing—a tailcoat, the same one he has on in the picture at home. And he doesn’t even take off his shoes indoors? (What kind of young master does that?)

So, Wreck, did you bring your best friend to live in your house early on, just so the two of you could chase your dreams in the hero industry together? (Is this what they call best friends?) In a normal friendship, it would be more like Shang Chao and Yang Cheng—if Shang Chao were still around and Yang Cheng didn’t want to stay at his own place, he’d probably move in Chao’s warehouse. But in Nice’s case, he gets to live directly in Wreck’s home.

What’s more, the layout of the room when they lived together differs from when Wreck lived alone—the positions of the coffee table and the rug were adjusted. (Did you even rearrange the house for your best friend’s convenience?)

Oh, and in Wreck’s memories, Nice is also wearing shoes indoors and stepping on the rug. Nice, you’re really making yourself at home—already treating Wreck like family, huh?

Heroes and villains operate under different constraints. As a villain actor, if Wreck wants to quit, he can simply go on strike—at most, he’d pay a penalty and be sidelined. Treeman has very little control over him. But Nice is a hero, bound by a trustworthiness metric, which gives the company much tighter control over him. That’s why highly confidential tasks like handling fear waste or assassinating researchers definitely can’t be assigned to temporary workers like Wreck.

Moreover, the contracts Nice and Wreck signed are fundamentally different—one is based on contracted work, the other on contractual obligations.

Also, judging by the plot, Shangde never directly orders Nice to do anything but consistently uses暗示 (implication/suggestion). This leads me to believe that Nice may have been "voluntold"—pressured into doing bad things under the guise of willingness. Wreck, on the other hand, seems to be paid based on appearance frequency—otherwise, it wouldn’t make sense for him to stay home drinking alone when there’s no work instead of remaining at the company. Add to that the fact that Wreck and Nice are closely tied together—the more active Nice is, the higher the chances Wreck will appear.

In essence, Nice is carrying the workload and heroic dreams for two people. If he slacks off and gets fired, not only does he suffer—Wreck would also be affected, losing work opportunities while still having to pay breach penalties.

In the flashback scene from episode 2 of the animation, P1 is wearing gray-black socks while Nice's are yellow. However, in episode 21, during Nice's flashback, Wreck is shown wearing yellow socks... So, are Nice and Wreck swapping socks or something?? Are you two actually living together (and maybe even sharing a bed)?

I noticed that in the anime, Wreck repeatedly recalls the trainee-era version of Nice (P1) rather than the hero-era version (P2). Even in the meme images created by the official staff, Wreck is also shown thinking about the trainee-era Nice.
