The recommendation and censorship mechanisms in China are really odd. Most of the Postal fan creators I’ve come into contact with are under 18, and I’m one of them.
(I guess it’s just my lack of exposure!)
I once asked an AI: East Asian countries don’t bar minors from joining fan communities—in fact, minors even make up the main group in many cases. But it’s not the same in Europe and America; minors aren’t supposed to be part of fan circles.
I first came across Postal through a funny gameplay commentary video in 2021. The video got a lot of likes and views because of its shoddy Chinese dubbing. I was only around 13 then, so I couldn’t understand the game’s deeper core. After all, I was just a kid back then.

Promoting gore and violence is wrong, and many people on Chinese platforms have also criticized their actions. Everyone has different preferences, but please protect young kids. I’ve watched their videos—they’re extremely gory with ultra-extreme plots, and there seems to be no age restriction for viewing. Kids are naturally curious and lack clear judgment; this kind of content can cause serious psychological and cognitive problems for them… What I really want to say is: How dare they reveal their age? If I admitted my age in this kind of circle, I feel like I’d be torn to pieces! They’re really bold…
