this is supposed to show kaeya's pov when he heard of the 'imposter' for the first time. the third picture is supposed to be you, the reader! which is actually just a small slime lol. i turned them into a slime for the sake of inclusivity, and i think it's pretty silly overall.
i ended up rambling, but i thought I'd just give an update since my fic seemed to get recognition. I'm sure most of the readers forgot about it already but there are still some people liking my posts

ALHAITHAM
when alhaitham sees you in the mirror staring at your own face, he sighs. you’ve done this countless of times since the two of you started dating.
a while ago, you’d admitted to alhaitham that you felt insecure of yourself. you kept complaining about the features you have and whatnot. alhaitham could only listen silently, not wanting to seem insensitive and interrupt you while you were ranting.
alhaitham isn’t one to go for looks. he solely believes that a person’s qualities lies on the inside, not the outside. however when it came to you, in alhaitham’s eyes, you were beautiful inside and out.
he knows and is aware that he had a way with words. alhaitham isn’t the best at expressing himself through words, opting to show affection through actions.
but he’d try for you.
alhaitham approached you slowly before wrapping his arms around you. “my dear, you know you’re beautiful, right?”
you, already close to tears due to all the bad thoughts in your mind, sniffled.
the man continued. “throughout my life, i have never seen anyone with your beauty. your features are so unique and beautiful that i can’t help but fall in love with them.”
alhaitham delicately lifted your chin, your eyes meeting his. he smiled softly, a smile reserved only for you. carefully alhaitham brushed away your tears before kissing your cheeks.
“everything about you is perfect. your beauty is incomparable, my love. i’m very lucky to have you by my side,” alhaitham says, turning your body towards him. “if you saw yourself through my eyes, you’ll understand what i mean.”
you finally crack a smile, albeit slightly crooked, before lightly pushing him away. “stop it. it’s so weird having someone so authoritative say such words.”
alhaitham replies, “i’m only speaking the truth. i don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.”
you laugh.
indeed, alhaitham would always find you amazing. even if you deny it, even if you forget it, he’ll be there to remind just how perfect you are to him.
AYATO
nobody can understand kamisato ayato, the ever refined and elegant head of the kamisato clan. it’s hard to tell if he has hidden motives behind his actions.
many people are cautious around him. even you, his cute little s/o. though it’s rare.
everyone in inazuma views this man like he’s some deity. and you can see why. ayato is responsible, graceful in his words and actions and most of all, he’s beautiful.
this is why you can’t understand why ayato chose you out of all people to be his boyfriend.
you didn’t come from a distinguished clan, just some small humble family living on the coasts of narukami island. you’d met ayato while he was roaming around the island. the two of you hit off and your relationship progressed into what it is now.
ayato didn’t care about your upbringings or family. he didn’t care that you weren’t some prominent figure in inazuma. he loved you for who you were.
the other clans, however, couldn’t accept you.
they said that you had nothing to offer. you didn’t have status, you didn’t have money, you didn’t even possess the ability to bear children.
everyone in the elite society of inazuma despised you. and you just sucked it up
because you believed that what they said about you was true. and that led to endless nights of you crying yourself to sleep, wanting to drown out all their voices in your head.
at first, ayato was oblivious to this all. the nobles didn’t dare talk bad about you in front of him because they know what’s he’s capable of. but once he leaves, they stab you with harsh words.
it was thoma who informed ayato about everything and without a moment wasted, ayato rushed to you.
at the time, you had already fallen asleep. ayato quietly crept up to your bedside. he notes the tear stains on your cheeks and promised to make the nobles pay.
ayato gently peppers your face with soft kisses, waking you up in the process of doing so.
“ayato..?” you mumble half-asleep.
“it’s me darling,” ayato says back in a tone so soft that it almost makes you cry again. “i’m sorry i didn’t realise earlier.”
you sat up and ayato sits on the bed.
“i’m sorry ayato. i just don’t think i’m worthy. those elites are right, i don’t deserve to be beside you. you’re so amazing and i—“
“— am amazing too,” ayato finishes for you. he cups your cheek and brings your forehead to his. “no matter what they say, no matter what they think, no one is worthy of being my partner other than you. no one.”
you can’t help but cry again.

they finally appeared, cryo magic surrounding their form and they immediately knelt, shivering under the intense gaze their majesty gave them.
“speak.” she demanded.
“your majesty, their grace is safe and unharmed. however, it seems the favonius has captured them.”
she narrowed her eyes. “and? continue.”
they gulped. “they have been locked in a prison for a day. it was heavily secured, guards surrounded the place so we couldn't free them immediately.”
nodding, she crossed her legs. thinking of a possible solution, her brows furrowed. ‘the favonius, huh?’
an idea crossed her mind. the mischievous energy radiating from her could not be ignored by the mage, tensing up when she spoke in a dangerous tone.

“master jean!” amber didn't even bother knocking as she immediately entered the room, the door creating a huge ‘BANG!’ in which startled the acting grandmaster
jean flinched harshly but recovered the moment she saw amber's panicked state. she looked at her in concern, abandoning the pile of paperwork while she made her way to the outrider who collapsed on the ground panting tiredly. it seems she ran all the way here from a far place, was it that important?

the meat was turned, revealing a crispy black surface. she looked up, seeing you in distress.
“IT GOT BURNT, NO!” you screamed after a moment of staring in disbelief. your hands were placed on the side of your head, dramatically muttering things about how it was ruined, your work of art being destroyed and blaming it on the fire. yeah, that was definitely not what she expected from their 'creator.'
she pictured a high celestial being, a divine god with their hair flowing in the graceful wind of the world they created, white silky robes and a glowing white aura surrounding their perfect figure.
but what stood in front of her was a person not knowing how to put the fire out, throwing a rock at it like it's going to do anything. not that she was insulting you or thought that you were stupid! you were still as beautiful as the books described you. you were still her creator, the one who guided her along with the stars. the one who brought life to the world she resided in, and she was more than greatful to be blessed by your presence. she simply did not expect for you, a god, to beg a broke astronomer to 'turn' the fire off. she sighed, standing up and using her hydro vision to extinguish the flames that ruined their food, as you say. the water hit the flames, and the fire began to hiss and crackle, its once vibrant orange hue dimming into a dull red. smoke billowed into the air, thick and dark. she waved her hands to get some of it away from her face, scrunching her nose at the unpleasant smell. with a hand on her hip, she turned to you, not expecting you to stare at her as if you were admiring a mystical being when she was supposed to be the one doing that.
your eyes sparkled in interest as you watched her use her vision. mona's skill effects has always been your favorite in the entire game. it's was simply amazing, and seeing it up close was a lot better. you couldn't help the sparkle in your eyes, oblivious to how flustered you made the astronomer. she cleared her throat, snapping you out of your trance.
“ahem... s-so your grace-”
“just call me (name), please.”
the smile you sent her was enchanting, mona felt her heart skip a beat. her face flushed a deep red before quickly shaking her thoughts away and averting her eyes. she cleared her throat, trying to act normal.
“so, your gr- i mean, (name). about that promise earlier..”
you blinked. immediately remembering and sputtering small apologies. “oh right! i promised to explain everything that happened right? sorry, i planned to say it after this meal but the food... yeah.” you deadpanned, still disappointed in your lack of survival skills.
“it's okay .... (name).”
“well, it's a really long story so I hope you're prepared.”
