It just pisses me off how gay love isn’t taken seriously. mike can have trouble telling his girlfriend he loves her, and everyone will still believe he actually means it, while will can activate his powers to save mike with a beautiful montage of the first time he met him, and his feelings still won’t be taken seriously. what more does it take for people to understand that he is the love of his life and he’s not going to just get over him? yes, being in love with your best friend and not being reciprocated is a common and realistic queer experience, but you know what else is realistic? that after the gay guy is rejected by his straight friend, they don’t stay friends.
