Being an ‘educated’ Chicano don’t mean shit. Shout out to homies who dropped out, never went to school, and keep doin the damn fucking thing.
I think you should reword this or find a better way to express what you’re saying. My education is everything to me. Homies who continue to move forward despite their setbacks and limitations deserve all the respect but don’t belittle my education. For some of us, that’s all we have.
