So far I have not run across any better pictures of this VEST thing that Bono was wearing last night, but I'm sure they'll start appearing soon.

This may seem silly but since about 2000, Bono has mostly worn jackets or even layers of jackets on stage. He's obviously feeling pretty good these days, and is to be encouraged. :)

Everyone! Especially @alphabravohotel and @yumporchetta! Look look look!

ETA: I was able to read the interview thanks to someone posting screenshots on Twitter. Very positive and sweet; U2 are not breaking up and Larry is not leaving. The entire Sphere thing was delayed by the pandemic and yes, U2 are contractually obligated to play. Edge explains how SOS came to be (an intimate vehicle for Bono’s mature voice) and says the next album is indeed guitar-based. :)

The Photograph

Edge, they are still talking about this picture.

What picture? Who is they?

The one you took of me. Joshua Tree. They say they can see how much I love you when they look at this picture. I love that. This picture.

*Edge smiles* (Quietly) Yes. I can see it too.

And that’s what matters.

It’s a good photo but I’m a better photographer now. That picture is a bit over-exposed and I should have made you stand in a different direction because of the angle of the sun. I could put this through Photoshop or Lightroom and improve it. I could take a better picture now.

Edge. Would you really want to do this over?

*Smiling again* No. It captures the moment perfectly. It’s perfect just the way it is.

That was a beautiful moment in time.

I wouldn’t change a thing.

Stayed up late (early?) re-watching various performances of “Electric Co.” This one has always been one of my favs. This whole concert is incredible. Bono and his hair (!!) and that vest and the wink. Bringing the guy up from the audience…Haha!! Oh, and Edge…sweet, beautiful Edge. He was on FIRE here. This performance really deserves my “these two” tag. What a team.
