Ooh that is a good question.

I’d say a good way to improve is to find things you like in other artist’s works, and try to replicate that.

Im not saying to straight up copy someone else’s art style, it doesn’t work that way. Just find eye shapes, face shapes, different ways to draw hair, proportions/anatomy, coloring/shading styles that appeal to you, and try to apply those things in your own work.

It might feel weird at first, and it may not look exactly how you want for a while, but that’s the best process to finding what works for you and developing your art style. And as a bonus you get to appreciate the work of other artist’s!

At the end of the day we’re all here to learn and get inspired from one another, and the internet makes that process so much easier.

The most important thing though is to NOT compare yourself to other artists. Instead of being discouraged by a “better” artist, try to be inspired instead.

I have more planned for your favorite feline and his friends, but those need to be workshopped a little more before I can get started on them (writing is shockingly hard, you guys, idk how people write books).
