Lowkey one of the more refreshing moments of Cosmic Princess Kaguya is how after Iroha returns from her depression coma after losing Kaguya, she apologizes to everyone for disappearing and they’re just like “girl, we’ve been telling you to take a break this whole movie, you were on track to have a heart attack at 18.” A really powerful message coming from a culture that literally has a word for working so hard you die from stress.
