really had fun experimenting with the palette and lighting on this one!

posting another wip as I am drawing slower rn trying to fill the aquarium in the actual game

I started playing genshin in 2026 which means I'm just now getting to Fontaine and then I immediately doubled back to Liyue to go do this guy's character quest

I don't know if I'll always be taking requests because I can't promise my ability to answer them but I wanted to draw this one so thank you!!!

back to a more straightforward portrait style today

I use the default brush "calligraphy-brush pen" for a lot of my shading, and I tend to use the same brush throughout a piece so sometimes that's the only brush I use. I also have some brushes from jingsketch/gumroad's collection that I bought years ago and i'm using one called "thin render solid" from their painting set(?) for linework but i also use it interchangeably with the default brush "inking-gel pen"!

not my best execution but I had a great time with the concept! kind of got tired halfway thru and fell into my habits instead of exercising properly 😔
