As Yejun sends a last text over on Kakao to the other producers, he places his phone aside while stretching a little in his chair. Being the “workaholic” he was, Yejun had of course did some touch up on the new song they were recently working on yet again. Thou it was a day off for him, Yejun still set some time apart to work on them. As he got off his seat, Yejun got out from the studio room he had in his place and as he walked towards the living room, he realised it was raining to which he sent a text to [y/n],
Y: it’s raining !! Did you bring an umbrella? Careful not to get caught in the rain!!
A ping comes not long after he sends the message.
[y/n] : oh gosh… you’re right.. I’ve been in meetings the whole day.. it’s okie ! Hopefully it will stop soon! ☺️
Upon seeing the reply, Yejun concerns slightly went up as that probably meant [y/n] had not packed an umbrella today with her.
Y: I’ll come fetch you if it’s still raining! You wait there after you end alright? Any thoughts for dinner? I’ll cook before I go get you!
[y/n] : honestly… what would I do without you… thank you yejunnie 🫶🏻🫶🏻
[y/n] : mmm… teriyaki chicken?
Y: Don’t worry about it [y/n] !! Gotta take care of my girl now don’t I! 🥺❤️
Y : gotcha! Hehe I’ll see you later then!
As Yejun sends the last text over, he starts prepping dinner.
After 1 and a half hours, Yejun was done preparing dinner as his phone notification pinged, Yejun dries his hands before picking up the phone .
[y/n] : Yejun ah! I’ve ended! Lemme know when you’re near? I’ll come down!
The message read. Yejun eyes lit up as he reads it and goes to get ready to pick [y/n] up.
~~~~~~ time skip to Yejun reaching [y/n] company building and calls [y/n] to let her know ~~~~~~
“ thank you for coming to pick me up yejun ah! “ [y/n] says as they exited the company building. Yejun glances to her direction as he turns up the heater function on her side making sure she didn’t get a cold. “It’s alright [y/n] after all isn’t that the basic thing to do for my girl~” he says like it’s the most normal thing guys do.
As they got home, Yejun heats up dinner after promptly making sure [y/n] showers, no one’s getting sick in this house with Yejun around especially not her girl… was what he said.
As Yejun sets the plates down, [y/n] exits the bath with her towel on her head still. “Let’s dry your hair quickly and then eat?” Yejun asks as he grabs the hairdryer. “Come here [y/n] , sit here” he signals to his lap for her.
~~~ time skip again as Yejun blow dries your hair ~~~
“All done! Let’s eat!” Yejun sing-songs as he serves their food down. “Was work alright today? You mentioned having a few meetings back to back today?” Yejun asks as he places a cup of water down for both of them.
[y/n] nodded a little acknowledging the cup of water being given to her before thanking him. “It…. Mmmm…. Was ok … I suppose.. just that before work ended they had this balloon segment and stuff which they needed to popped.. but was fine thankfully!” She mutters as she remembers the hours from before. “Meeting was… you know meetings…” she added before eating her dinner.
“You’ve worked hard today then..” Yejun says before reaching over to pat the top of her head. “Well done today too [y/n]. Thank you for working hard today.” He added as he pat the top of her head more. She chuckled a little before looking at him “and what did you do on your day off today?”
As they exchanged details of how their day went today, the meal they had on their plate soon were gone as they completely devoured it. “Thank you for cooking dinner today Yejun” [y/n] says as she grabs the dishes to wash while Yejun stands beside her drying the dishes that’s she was done washing. “It’s all good!!~ like I said anything for you” he says before he takes a hand towel to dry his hand and of course her hands as he lifts her hands to dry them as she continues about her day from earlier.
“ I’m proud of you today too [y/n] !! “ he says putting the hand towel down before squishing her cheeks with his hands. Not in a rough way, in a very gentle loving way.
