liliana grew up in cider point to a single father, never knowing her mother but never wanting for much

her  father  spent  a  lot  of  time  working  to  support  the  two  of  them,  so  she  was  home  a  lot  with  books  and  the  newspapers

she  fell  in  love  with  reading,  but  she  had  always  wanted  a  bit  more  besides  reading,  and  it’s  why  she  was  always  interested  in  writing  her  own  stories  about  the  characters  in  her  head

lily  retreated  into  herself,  and  she  was  kinda  on  the  outskirts  always  looking  in  growing  up.  she  had  friends  in  school,  but  it  was  just  enough  to  help  her  get  by

she  never  really  minded  and  didn’t  think  too  much  of  it,  but  she  certainly  always  wanted  to  feel  that  type  of  friendships  or  even  romantic  relationships  that  she  saw  her  peers  enjoying

so  when  it  came  to  colleges,  she  picked  a  city  where  she  knew  she  could  try  everything  she’s  always  wanted-  finding  love  and  trying  to  write.  

lily  moves  to  nyc  and  she  ...  fails.  she  graduates  with  a  degree  in  english,  worked  on  her  own  manuscript  for  years  while  she  was  in  school,  just  for  no  agency  to  pick  up  her  book.  she  doesn’t  branch  out  the  way  she  wanted  to,  and  she  isn’t  sure  what  she  could  have  done.  

she  tries  her  best,  but  she  ends  up  moving  back  home  to  cider  point  recently,  only  six  months  ago.  

lily  is  trying  her  best  to  figure  out  moving  back  home,  and  while  she  enjoys  having  her  family  around  for  the  first  time  in  years,  she  isn’t  sure  how  she  feels  about  being  in  her  hometown  around  people  she  hasn’t  seen  in  years

right  now,  she’s  waitressing,  but  she  has  hopes  of  using  her  degree  to  maybe  start  working  for  the  local  newspaper  once  she  gets  acclimated  

even  though  she’s  still  nervous  to  be  back  in  town,  she’s  going  to  try  to  take  some  of  her  goals  from  when  she  moved  away  and  hope  that  she  can  make  friends  and  get  out  of  her  comfort  zone
