|| Byredo’s Mojave Ghost
Starting off my very first fragrance blog I will like to introduce a beautiful scent from the Swedish House Byredo, ‘Mojave Ghost’.

Top Notes: Ambrette, Sapodilla
Middle Notes: Violet, Sandalwood, Magnolia
Base Notes: Ambergris, Cedar
Byredo’s bottles are simply elegant, clean and beautiful. The house’s minimalistic approach makes give that high class feel and look. Everything about it just screams quality.
To describe the scent I’ll have to say it’s a sweet, fruity, floral fragrance. The scent is delicate yet rich and dense. The very first time I smelt I got a nasty headache from it even though I liked it very much and found it unique but that was also due to alot of fragrance testing during that day. The fragrance stood out from the rest and all I could smell was that scent and after alot of sniffing it was this Mojave Ghost scent that lingered and somewhat became cloying to the point it caused a headache.
But despite the bad initial experience I knew I still wanted to give it another try because of how it stood out and got my attention out of all the fragrances which I tried that day including the Byredos, Serge Lutens, Diptyque and MFK to name the houses. However, surprisingly Mojave Ghost wasn’t my first fragrance purchase from Byredo but it was actually Accord Oud which I will talk about another time.
Mojave Ghost to me is a very versatile scent even though it will seem like a warm weather scent because it has that fresh, fruity vibe but I feel because of it’s density and the floral mixed in it, I believe it can also be pulled off in a cooler weather.
Overall I absolutely love this fragrance and I highly recommend everyone to try Mojave Ghost along with the other fragrances from the Byredo collection which are all just as beautiful and unique.
