“….what?”  Aki’s look of shock quickly turned to a frown, and he thanked the SeeD informant who had dropped that bit of news.  

He broke into a fast canter down the corridor, nearly taking out a group of Trepies in his haste, and came upon the trio not far from the hall leading to the cafeteria. There was shouting, Laguna and Seifer were glaring at each other, and Squall was trying to get in between both.

Aki was not keen on having to call on the good doctor for any sort of guidance; however, Garden was in need of an expert on para-magic and guardian forces - it seemed a new GF had surfaced near the Balamb campus, and Odine did know quite a bit on those topics.

As he was likely to tell Aki himself.  The instructor grimaced as he dialed the number.

“We’re not sure what we’re dealing with here…it’s not a typical guardian force.  It’s one none of us have ever seen before, not even the headmaster.  From what I could see….the creature had snakes for hair, and the unlucky student who unleashed it was petrified.  He’s still being treated by Dr. Kadowaki.”

“Fine, fine.” Odine said, “Don’t get your knickers in ze twist, Aki! And vwhat ze hell is ze petty student doing playing with such power?! Being an instructor got to your miniscule head, and you forgot to teach them properly, hmm?”

“The student came across this on his own,”  Aki explained further.  “I’m the one who found him, crawling back to campus, and I brought him to Dr. Kadowaki right away.”  

"Unless zis car of Cid's can grow wings and fly, I highly doubt zat it would get here! Grow a brain, kid!"

“That’s just rude. And uncomfortable. But if I were a platter I’d serve you an arrest warrant for that sassy mouth!”

I was going to respond to this with a bunch of fanart that is (in my opinon) not recognizable unless you consider that Seifer = Scar + Blonde hair but…

That would just be rude, wouldn’t it? Putting someone’s hard work down because you don’t agree with it? Hm?

So to prove my point I made an… let’s call it an ‘attempt’… at drawing Seifer. Using a reference, which I will also add.

I took my time because I know how important this is to you that I draw him with 100% accuracy… Well, sadly, I’m still very much a beginner, and… I made something that I recognize to be a very young Benicio Del Toro.

I think since I’m so good at illustration, I should stop trying to learn and start taking commissions. Think that’s better than using Sims?

Then I’ll keep doing what I’m doing. I’ll leave the beautiful illustrators out there to do what they do best because they have a talent that I could only aspire to possess.

Which is exactly what I’m doing. That up there? What you see is all the hard work I put into the illustration. That’s ALL handpainted. So… I’m doing alright for now. And I plan to get better as I go along.

Who knows, maybe I’ll be as good as the artists that I look up to. And if not, that’s cool.

{♦} - “SCARFACE?!” Seifer lurched forward in his seat, his mouth agape. He was amused, “…Alright, fine…I’ll own it. The scar just adds to my charm, don’t it?”

Guilty pleasures? Seifer has a few –

{♦} - Cuts the Mun off, “No no, we already answered this one but I’ll add to it. First, there’s ‘The Sorceress Knight’ starring President Loire. I hate to admit it. The movie is so poorly made and the acting is… terrible… to say in the least but I still get inspired by it.”

That’s not it, is it?

{♦} - “No, that’s not it.” Tosses phone on table, “This song gets me motivated. And this one. And this. And this one here. Can’t go wrong with any of these.” Pause. “What? I appreciate female artists! The ‘Rumble and Sway’ is just a current favorite.”

Anything else?

{♦} - “It’s so bad…” Seifer hesitates, drawing in a slow breath. “I used to play a particular tabletop game when I was like, twelve and–”

Nope. We’re done with this oversharing thing. You are not about to tell me that Seifer Almasy played Dungeons and Dragons–
