Being unable to curl up in a ball because their tummy is too bloated and the pressure of pulling their legs up is too much
Moaning and rubbing their tummy in their sleep
When their tummy is too tender to be touched or rubbed so there’s nothing they or their care taker can do to sooth the pain
Being so full or bloated the their belly gets a red/pink flush
Having to go to the hospital because the pain is so bad, then having to clutch their belly and cry while their caretaker holds them while they sit in the waiting room
Being in the hospital and hearing someone screaming or vomiting in another room
“Please, it hurts so bad, please help me”
“Oh god by belly, make it stop!”
Having their belly painfully pressed and prodded when examined by a doctor
Guarding their tummy when someone tried to get near it
“Ah! Don’t touch it, i-it’s too painful!”
The caretaker tries to touch or rub the belly but it causes them more pain/to violently throw up
Moans turning into whimpers, which turn into cries, then turn into screams
Being so desperate they have to frantically rub their own aching tummy, desperately trying to find some kind of relief
“I-I can’t take it, please make it stop, it’s too much”
Cramps so bad they double over
Bellies being described as “swollen” or “bloated”
Tummies that shake, quiver or bounce from the sheer pain/pressure
“Oohhhh.... m-my, my tummy....”
When their tummy is so packed their system can’t handle it and they need someone to help get things moving by pushing and kneeding the belly, even though the added pressure causes their tummy to hurt so much more. They cry and writhe under the care takers touch but they have to go through it to make their belly feel better in the long run
Or maybe there’s no one to help rub their stuffed tummy so their poor guts have to struggle and strain all night with all the food they overloaded their system with
Writhing on the bed, clawing and grabbing at their belly in pain
Just clutching their bellies in general is really good
Care takers gently placing a hand on an upset tummy and being able to feel the turmoil going on underneath the skin
Cuddling and pressing tummies together, feeling how bloated the other is against their own stomach
Bellies that swell up as gas builds in their guts, big pockets of air that stretch their stomach and twist up their intestines as they move through their digestive system
When their tummy is full of gas and they feel it bubbling inside them
Non stop gurgling
“My belly, my belly...”
Being so full it makes the skin of their tummy extra sensitive, so they can’t have clothes or blankets rubbing up against them
Shallow breaths because their bloated tummy is taking up too much room and their lungs can’t expand properly
Begging their own tummy to stop hurting
Gasping in pain
Tummies that are hard to the touch
Patting the tummy instead of rubbing it
“Ow my tummy, ohhh... my tummy hurts so much, I can’t take it anymore...”
Characters acting slightly different when they're sick
Like, those little things that let the caretaker know that something is wrong even if the sickie doesn't say it/is trying to hide it
Going unusually quiet
Walking hunched over
Going to bed earlier
Fidgeting with their clothes
Changing into looser clothes that don't press on their stomach
Maybe they can't stop fidgeting cause they're in pain
Or they avoid moving as much as possible cause they're exhausted
Turning down food they usually love
Wearing lots of layers on a hot day
Or only a light jacket on winter
They may get unusually clingy
Or if they may not want anyone to touch them. Like, characters that love hugs avoiding them cause they don't want any extra pressure on their stomach. Or maybe they're just really overstimulated
Crying for seemingly no reason
Snapping over the smallest things
Locking themselves into their room
Or not wanting to be alone at all
Flinching at loud noises cause their head hurts
Falling asleep at weird places cause they were so tired they couldn't help it/ felt too weak to make it to their room
Putting off important things cause they don't have the energy to push through them
Avoiding eye contact cause their eyes are red and glassy
Constantly rubbing their eyes
Their hair/clothes might look unusually messy
Sleeping in a different position
Like, tummy sleepers are not gonna be able to sleep like that cause it puts pressure on their sick stomach
Back sleepers using pillows to prop themselves up cause reflux is killing them
Or if they share their bed with someone they might try to sleep with their back facing them so them won't see the pained look on their face
A stumbled into the flat, desperate. They had been constipated for a few days, due to stress and insufficient fibre, and something they'd eaten today really wasn't sitting well. The afternoon had been a mess, with their bloated belly cramping up so much they had no choice but to run to the bathroom often, even though only gas emerged. When A had been driving home, though, disaster had struck. The cramps were constant, squeezing their tummy so badly that their ass tried to wink open and push everything out, but A willed it shut and clenched down hard. Their lower belly had cramped up so fiercely they nearly had to pull over, although they just about managed to make it home.
A kicked off their shoes, dropped their work bag in the hallway, and rushed to the bathroom. With trembling hands, they clutched their tummy and doubled over, trying to undo their belt and pants. By the time they did, they were sobbing and whining from the pain.
Sitting down only provides some relief. They still had to take a deep breath and strain, before an explosion occurs. Panting, A sagged to the side, no longer frantically rubbing their tummy, but still feeling unwell. Straightening up, they push again, groaning as whatever had been backed up presents some resistance, refusing to come easily until they push hard.
Everything is sore. Their ass is sore, their tummy is definitely aching still, and they're drenched in sweat after the mad dash. When they're finally done, they clean up gingerly and take off their clothes, heading for the shower. The hot water soothes them, but A is so drained that they just want to rest. Stepping out of the shower wrapped in a towel, A holds their belly still, rubbing it idly. Then, the door to B's room clicks open.
A freezes. Was B at home? Had they heard everything, including A's pathetic groaning and moaning?
I have this fantasy about someone denying that they’re not well. Maybe they’ve got a runny tummy and they find that out at work, when they drink coffee and it makes their belly hurt and churn and cramp until they have to go urgently.
Lunch doesn’t make it much better, but they know they’ll be starving if they don’t eat, so they just force down something bland. Ten minutes later, their lower belly is aching again, and it’s off to the bathrooms again for them where they bite their lip hard and shake while they palm their upset tummy and rock back and forth. It’s just loose slop pouring out of them now, and they know they’re not well.
Gas keeps plaguing them throughout the afternoon, so they keep it all in because they don’t want to stink up the office. Their colleague eyes them from time to time and asks if they’re okay, but they always say that they are, despite clearly being bloated. They try to limit their bathroom visits to once an hour, and they practically scurry over to let out wet, disgustingly loud gas when it’s time.
At the end of the day, the colleague mentions finally being able to rest, and they just nod, forcing a smile onto their face. The colleague bids them goodbye, but overhears them having another round of diarrhea in the toilet later. This time, it’s just gas and liquid interspersed with moans because they think they’re alone. Their tummy is cramping because it’s so bloated, and they spend a long time massaging it, going up their right side and down their left to try and get all that’s hurting them out.
If you were in this position, would you wait for your colleague and offer to drive them home, get them something light and rub their tummy? Or would you just leave them alone?

Just thinking about how someone who’s very reserved about being vulnerable would try to hide that they’re sick. Maybe something they ate is disagreeing with them. Their stomach is burning with indigestion but they refuse to burp, leaving them with gas that doesn’t get expelled. When they start digesting, their guts start bloating up with gas too, but they refuse to fart and they hold it in.
You can hide your bloated belly somewhat by remaining seated at the office and buttoning up a jacket or zipping up a hoodie, but it’s hard to hide it if you’re in pain. Maybe they’re swallowing hard to stifle the gas that’s trying to escape through their mouth. Maybe they’re going stiff every time their belly gurgles.
Maybe they manage to hide it until the gas cramps start. When loud rumbles start ripping painfully through their colon, they put a hand on their tummy and notice how bloated it really is, but they don’t want to rub their belly at their desk. They take a brisk walk to the toilet where they release massive belches and farts, clutching their tummy and rubbing it frantically to try to ease the pain. What would you do if you walked in on them?
There was a bubbling in A’s stomach that they didn’t like.
It has been a long and stressful day at work, what with everyone in the office being close to deadlines, and A had been so close to finishing when their stomach had started acting up.
They had to finish the task by the end of the work day. There was no further extending it, and they bit their lip, willing their stupid stomach to stop throwing a fit. But A knew that it was going to be futile - they always got the runs when they were stressed, and they’d also eaten a bunch of greasy fast food for lunch since someone else had ordered in.
A tried their level best to avoid thinking about it, but there was no getting around it. Whatever was in their guts wanted out, and they were feeling extremely uncomfortable from the increasing pressure in their abdomen. Standing up, they walked briskly to the bathroom, picking a stall at random before locking it.
“Ow,” A couldn’t help but groan as they fumbled with their belt and the button on their slacks, before sitting down and spreading their cheeks. Right away, a torrent of gas ripped out of them, and they winced as it echoed in the bowl, a hand pressed below their navel. There was still an uncomfortable, painful pressure in their tummy, so they strained and strained until a productive spatter of diarrhoea gave them some relief. Their belly was really revolting, and A groaned as they massaged their tummy, just pressing in with their fingers until more waste exploded out of them. They couldn’t stop rocking back and forth slowly, willing their uncooperative bowels to empty themselves. It took ten long minutes until they finally felt empty, and even then, they still clutched at their sore belly, unable to tell if they were done.
Staggering out of the cubicle after cleaning up, A washed their hands and leaned against the sink wearily, grimacing as they let out a last painful fart. They still had work to do.
struggling to close a button over a bloated stomach is such a good visual...
sucking in the gurgling, upset curve as they force the trousers closed, only for the pressure to make the sensation worse, perhaps forcing out a couple of farts
it’s almost futile because they have to rush to undo the clothes and get rid of whatever has been festering in their intestines either way
1. Queasy Tummy's- nausea swirls in the pit of their stomach, and everything inside feels heavy, sloshing around with every move they made.
2. Crampy Tummy's- a dull ache lies under harsh, tight cramps through their middle, accompanied by angry grumbles.
3. Achy Tummy's- they aren't exactly crampy, but instead the ache that underlies the cramps amplified. They're loud, constantly gurgling and groaning.
4. Bubbly Tummy's- tummy's that are bloated, tightly packed with bubbles of gas pressing up against their skin. They're achy and full, and dying for belly rubs.
Okay for the one shots for some reason I want to read something with “why has god forsaken me???!!!” But like a sick fic. That’s really confusing sorry!
This one was pushing the 1,000-word limit with 994 words but you asked for a sickfic? You got a sickfic!
(Vomiting warning- if that bothers you, you may want to give this one a miss.)
The second Peter spotted one of the sporadically placed benches that could be found along the school's wide corridors he dropped down onto it and groaned. His nose kept catching an occasional whiff of the little bit of vomit that had made it onto his shirt and it was making him feel nauseous all over again and he just wanted to go home.
He'd already tried to call May but she was at work and probably wouldn't find his messages until well after lunch. That left Tony as his only other potential way out and he had no idea if that would work or not. Either way, he tapped his mentor's contact number and hoped that the man would answer.
"Hey, Kid! Shouldn't you be in school?" Tony asked the moment the lines connected. It was unusual for Peter to contact him during class hours and even then, it was typically a text. He couldn't fathom what a mid-Tuesday-morning call would be about.
"I am. I'm just not in class right now," Peter miserably explained before pausing slightly. He was suddenly hesitant about his request. "I wanted to ask you something"
"Sure," Tony instantly replied. "What's up?"
Peter cringed as he thought about the last ten minutes of his life and then sighed. "Well, Mr. Stark, I was wondering, you know, just out of curiosity, if say, there was a day that didn't feel great at school and threw up in the hallway because I couldn't make it to the bathroom in time, then ran around the corner before anyone could see the mess but decided I was too miserable to walk all the way to the office so I laid down on a bench in front of the janitors closest only to realize that my shirt was gross and making me feel worse... would you perhaps be able to come and get me?" he nervously rambled. "I mean if May couldn't."
Tony, despite his niggling concern, huffed a laugh. "Those are some oddly specific circumstances there, kiddo. Are you okay?" he asked, already gesturing for FRIDAY To save his work.
"Could you?" Peter pressed while resisting the urge to whine. That was not the answer he was looking for. It wasn't an answer at all, really and it was frustrating.
"Yeah, kid. I would say that even if just one of those things came up and May wasn't unavailable, I could definitely come and get you," Tony apprehensively replied and he could hear Peter sigh in relief. That alone told him everything else he needed to know. "Do you perchance need me to grab you a clean shirt and head that way?"
"If you don't mind, that would be really awesome, Mr. Stark," Peter said, grateful beyond measure that he wasn't going to have to stay at school much longer.
"I'll be there soon," Tony said softly and then another thought crossed his mind causing him to change his tone to something more teasing. "Wait, am I going to have to track down the janitor's closet or can you meet me in the office?"
"I'll be in the office," Peter said and then pulled himself up and forced his seemingly heavy legs to carry him towards the front of the building.
Tony arrived quickly as promised with a shirt in one hand and a plastic bag in the other. Peter swapped clothing in the nurse's office and as soon as they got outside, the man opened the passenger-side door for him and tried to hand over a second bag. "What's that for?" he asked in mild confusion.
"It's precautionary," Tony replied sounding equally baffled. "I don't want you throwing up in my car"
"There's nothing left to throw up, Mr. Stark," Peter half-whined in response.
Tony rolled his eyes and unceremoniously shoved the bag into the boy's hands. "Just humor me," he requested right before he closed the door. From there, it only took six minutes for him to be glad that he'd insisted. He could hear the rustling beside him followed by several heaves. "Jesus. I thought you said there was nothing left."
"There shouldn't be," Peter breathlessly replied before burying his face in the bag again. "I swear, I'm throwing up my organs at this point. Why has God forsaken me!"
As soon as he felt as though he could, Peter leaned back in the seat with a whimper He'd not been sick in quite some time but he was sure that it had never felt so terrible. Everything hurt. From his hair to his toenails. "I'm not being dramatic, Mr. Stark. I'm literally about to die,"
Having braked at a stoplight, Tony reached over to rub the kid's slumped back. "You're fine, kiddo.
Stop being so dramatic."
"No, you're not. You're gonna be fine," Tony chuckled, not saying anything else until the tower came into view. "Look, we're almost there. You can go straight to your room and put on your jammies. Then I'll come and tuck you in. Maybe I'll even read you a story if you think you can keep the theatrics to a minimum."
Peter nodded his head and curled up in his seat, still clutching the sick bag. "M'kay, that sounds good," he said, already anticipating the comfort of his bed and the soothing sound of his mentor's voice. Part of him knew that was childish but he was so sick and exhausted at the moment that he wasn't sure he cared.
"Really?" Tony asked with a laugh. He'd been fully expecting the kid to balk at the idea of being tucked into bed and read to. Though he wasn't planning on taking it back. Especially not after the teenager miserably hummed in the positive while looking up at him with big, soft, pleading eyes. He just ran his fingers thought he boy's hair, smiled and looked him fondly in the eyes. "Oh, kid... I thought I told you to keep the theatrics to a minimum."

okay actually relating to that last ask, characters trying to hide bloating is SO good.
like, pulling their pants up over their tender stomach. it hurts SO bad, and they go to the bathroom and unbutton them for a moment of relief, but when they go to button their pants back up, they realize that they can no longer do so. their stomach is STILL bloating and it’s getting bigger and bigger.
or, if it’s too painful, leaving their pants unzipped/wearing them under the curve of their belly/wearing soft clothing, like sweatpants or those drawstring shorts. maybe trying to pull their shirt down to hide it.
bloated girls who are wearing dresses trying to find a way to conceal their stomach, maybe trying to accessorize with a belt or tying a sweater around their waist.
wearing multiple layers of clothing, which makes them overheat. great if they also have a fever.
characters who have a soft bloat trying to wear, like, a compression tank? or waist trainer? it makes them burp SO much.
Okay so these aren’t necessarily as much about hiding, but just bloated bellies and the clothes they’re in are So Good
A character wearing a shirt that’s super baggy (or even a crop top/rolled up shirt) because they’re so bloated the pressure would make them queasy
Clothes that fit well (if snugly) earlier, but now that a character has eaten (especially if they’ve eaten something heavy or something that didn’t agree with them), they’re agonizingly tight. The character doesn’t have anything to change into, so they’re forced to keep wearing whatever they’ve got on, despite how painfully it’s squeezing their stomach.
A character dressed up nice for a night out, only to find themselves feeling increasingly bloated and ill from the mix of drinks and fancy food. This one actually has a couple endings in my mind
V1: their fancy clothes have some give, but now they’ve got a conspicuously huge belly. Maybe a friend or partner helps them sneak away to breathe/burp/be sick/get belly rubs in peace.
V2: this clothing has No Give, and they go from feeling kind of full to horribly bloated with a vice grip on their belly. Because their clothes can’t stretch, no one has noticed their stomach upset, so they either have to sneak away and relieve the pressure or end up belching/being sick/popping a button in this very formal, public setting.
A character on a date tries some new food and oh god it is Not Sitting Well. Their belly is bloating painfully, and they can feel it stretching the fabric of their fancy date clothes.
If their date doesn’t notice, they’re stuck squirming in their seat as their stomach swells, praying it isn’t conspicuous and maybe slipping away to nurse their ill and aching belly.
If their date does notice, it could lead to some lovely caretaking. Going back to whoever’s house, lying on the couch together with belly rubs, hot water bottles, some sick burps. Maybe they fall asleep together and have a nice night. Or maybe they feel increasingly ill and end up sitting in front of (or on) the toilet until their stomach empties itself.
when you can tell a tummy doesn't feel good just by looking at it🥵
seeing a lower tum a little round and bloated (maybe thats usually flat), and knowing it feels sick 🥺 or or or noticing a sick belly getting bloated and sensitive 🥺
extra hot when it's a caretaker that notices before sickie mentions anything; maybe caretaker points it out? or maybe they just keep quiet to keep sickie from being embarrassed, but attempt to cuddle them extra?

With their busy schedules, Changbin had barely had any time to spend with his boyfriend. Felix was similarly busy and missing his hyung a lot. They knew dating wouldn't be easy with their lifestyle but were determined to make it work for each other. It was always tough during comeback preparations but knowing they'd get some time off afterwards kept them going on. Watching Felix run himself into the ground and lose the spark in his eyes, Changbin promised himself he'd take the younger out as soon as they got a break and he'd ensure the spark would come back. The rapper loved how his boyfriend would seemingly light up every time he smiled, how his eyes sparkled and turned to adorable little crescents and how pure the boy's heart was, being amazed at the smallest of things. Changbin had already started planning their date weeks in advance, as it was basically what kept him going when it got stressful. Often having different schedules, they rarely saw each other and when they did, they were too tired to really talk, instead just cuddling up in bed together to get at least a few hours of sleep. At some point they couldn't even cuddle anymore because Felix was too sore from dancing to find a comfortable position and it broke the rapper's heart to see his boyfriend like this. He was also pretty sure the Aussie had lost weight with how much he was dancing and decided he'd take him out to a nice dinner. They'd have sashimi, since Changbin knew the younger loved it, and then they'd go to watch an action movie. Felix loved those and they had seen one on their very first date, so the older hoped it would give them a nice nostalgic feeling.
Though the comeback preparations seemed endless, the day it was over, felt surreal. They had just finished their first comeback stage and though they were tired, they were hyped from the adrenalin of the show. On their way back to the dorm that night, Changbin sat next to Felix, resting his head on the dancer's shoulder, humming: "I missed you, Lix. Let me take you out tomorrow?" – "I missed you too, Binnie, so much. Really?", the Aussie giggled and Changbin hummed in confirmation. "Where are we gonna go?" – "That, my dear Lixxie, is a surprise but first I need a full night of cuddles from my favorite koala", the older chuckled, linking their hands. Felix' eyes lit up, knowing he'd finally have his boyfriend to himself for a while. Suppressing a yawn, he rested his head on Changbin's and closed his eyes. If they were going out tomorrow, better get as much sleep as possible now, so he wouldn't be tired in case they'd be out late tomorrow. Leaning against each other, the couple slept through the entire car ride home. Changbin woke up first when their members tried to wake them and quickly shushed them, not wanting Felix to wake up. Instead, he unbuckled his boyfriend's seatbelt and picked him up, carrying him to bed. The younger deserved to rest, having worked so hard. Carefully changing his boyfriend into an oversized shirt, Changbin got ready for bed himself and slid under the blanket next to Felix. Holding the other tight, he closed his eyes and was out within seconds.
Both of them slept in late the following morning. Felix woke up first to prepare some pancakes for breakfast, or lunch, depending on when his friends would wake up. He wanted to treat Changbin as he hadn't seen the older in a while and was happy when two strong arms wrapped themselves around his waist. Placing the spatula down, he turned around and pecked his boyfriend's lips. "Good morning", he giggled, patting the older's disheveled bed-hair. Still sleepy, the rapper hugged him tighter, humming: "Good morning, sunshine." – "At what time do you want to head out tonight, just so that I can get ready in time", Felix smiled, turning back to the stove to flip the pancake. Resting his chin on the Aussie's shoulder, Changbin shrugged: "If we consider this lunch, you can get ready after eating and we'll go out as soon as you're ready." – "Well, in that case, we'll be having pancakes for lunch because I can't wait to have you to myself", the dancer beamed, pouring more batter into the pan. Laughing, Changbin agreed and walked off to shower, so he'd be ready to go after they ate.
After eating some of the pancakes and leaving the rest for their friends, Felix got ready for his date. Changbin still refused to tell him where they were going but told the younger to dress in something comfortable because he'd look amazing in anything anyway. Finishing his look with a thin black choker, the dancer exited their room and met the older in the living room. Some of their members had already discovered the pancakes and were happily chatting over their brunch, waving at Felix and thanking him for the meal. Leaning up on his toes, Changbin pecked the Aussie's lips and whispered: "You look awesome, I really like that choker." The younger smiled as his cheeks heated up. Hearing their friends laugh, he grabbed the rapper's hand and dragged him to the front door. Already putting on his shoes, he muttered: "Let's get out of here, I don't want them to tease us more." Changbin laughed and put his shoes on too, following his boyfriend out of the building. He had used the time the younger needed to get ready to search for something fun they could do till it was time for dinner. Knowing his dongsaeng well, Changbin decided they'd be spending the afternoon at an arcade together.
Having lots of fun, the afternoon passed quickly and slowly starting to get hungry, Changbin wrapped his arms around Felix from behind. Leaning closer to his ear, he whispered: "Let's go for dinner now, I know a place you'll like for sure." The younger agreed and linked their arms as they headed out of the arcade. Leading the Aussie to the sashimi restaurant he had chosen, Changbin turned around to see the other's reaction. Felix' eyes lit up with that beautiful sparkle, the rapper had missed so dearly, and he hugged his hyung tightly, squealing: "You were right, I'll like this for sure." Chuckling, Changbin opened the door for his boyfriend and grinned happily at his dongsaeng's excitement. With both of them loving sashimi, they had really hit the jackpot as the food was even better than they had anticipated. They made sure to order different dishes, so they could share and taste a bigger variety and though Changbin enjoyed it, he kept glancing at the clock, which confused Felix. "Hyung, are you waiting for something or why do you keep checking the time?", the Aussie frowned. Awkwardly smiling at his boyfriend, the rapper admitted: "Sorry, I didn't want to be impolite, I just made some more plans for us and am a bit nervous for them to work out." – "Plans that you are willing to tell me about?", Felix pouted, making his hyung laugh. "Well, you remember this new action movie you wanted to watch? Tonight will be the last showing and I reserved tickets for us, we wouldn't want to miss it, now would we?", Changbin smiled, while the dancer froze in his seat. Putting his chopsticks down, he stammered: "I -I though they had already stopped showing it and I didn't get the chance to see it because we were too busy."
They finished their dinner with Felix still unable to grasp that his boyfriend was taking him to the movie he had wanted to watch so badly. Holding hands, the Aussie skipped along next to Changbin on their way to the movie theater. They still had some time to spare, so when they passed an ice cream van, the older offered to buy them both a dessert but Felix declined. He'd rather have some snacks at the theater later and found ice cream vans kinda sus in general. Shrugging, Changbin got himself some ice cream and watched his boyfriend still celebrating that they were really going to see that specific movie. When they arrived, the rapper had already finished his ice cream and bought the younger all the snacks he wanted before taking him to their seats. Felix had already started munching on his popcorn as they watched the numerous adds playing, offering Changbin some too but the older declined. He felt more than full after dinner and dessert. The movie had barely started, yet his stomach was starting to feel a little off. It wasn't necessarily painful but it kept rumbling and the rapper was glad they were watching an action movie, so the sound effects would drown it out. As time passed, Changbin felt progressively worse. His stomach had started to cramp and watching Felix eat made him feel queasy. He had a gnawing feeling that maybe eating raw fish was a bad idea but he wouldn't speak up. Felix had been looking forward to this so much, he wouldn't ruin the date for him, especially since this was their last chance to see this movie.
Getting closer towards the end of the movie, there was a kiss scene and while everything was quiet, Changbin's stomach let out a loud growl. Flushing bright red in embarrassment, the rapper slipped a hand under his shirt to palm at his sore middle when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Felix looked over at him in worry, barely able to see him in the darkness of the room. "Did that sound come from your stomach?", he frowned. Just wanting the ground to swallow him up, Changbin looked at the ground and nodded. Squeezing his shoulder reassuringly, the younger whispered: "Are you feeling alright?" The rapper didn't want to ruin their date, so he just nodded and pretended to watch the movie. Felix wasn't entirely convinced but didn't want to push it, so he just held his boyfriend's hand and continued watching the movie. By the time the credits rolled, Changbin was drenched in sweat, fighting a battle with his stomach. He felt the angry organ churn, making his mouth water. He knew he'd be sick at some point but he didn't want to ruin their date, so he tried his hardest to hold it together. When the lights turned back on, Felix looked over at him, getting even more worried, now that he could see the slightly greenish shade his hyung's face had taken. "You look awful, what's going on?", he whispered worriedly, cupping the rapper's cheek. Pushing his hand away, Changbin shook his head and choked out: "I-I don't know, maybe the fish was bad or something."
Felix wanted to reply and insist it couldn't be the fish because they had shared and he felt fine but Changbin had already gotten to his feet and rushed out. Frowning, the Aussie crumpled his empty popcorn bag up and stuffed it into his pocket before running after his hyung. The rapper had made a beeline for the restroom, feeling his dinner climb up his throat. He made it there just in time, skipping the line and pushing people aside as he barged into an empty stall. Bracing his hands against the walls on both side of him, he tried to steady himself as his stomach lurched sending a big wave of his dinner splattering into the toilet. Changbin coughed, trying to brace himself for the next wave when a hand appeared on his back. He couldn't turn around to see who it was but he figured it was Felix by how tiny his hands felt on his back. Getting sick again, the rapper sunk to his knees and wrapped his arm around his cramping middle. After fighting his stomach for so long, it didn't feel like Changbin could stop throwing up anytime soon. Straightening back up after a forceful retch, he rasped: "Lix, please leave." – "Hyung, why? What's wrong?", Felix frowned. Heaving, the rapper ducked his head into the toilet again. His head spun and his dinner didn't taste nearly as pleasant the second time. The younger patted his back as he continued to cough. "Lixxie, I really don't want you to see me this way", he choked out, wiping some sweat off his forehead. Crouching down behind the older, Felix sighed: "It's okay, hyung. I've taken care of you before and you know I don't judge." Changbin wanted to reply but instead got sick again but no matter how insistent he was the dancer should leave, he was glad that his boyfriend stayed with him.
At some point, Changbin was reduced to dry heaves, his throat raw as his head spun. Felix carefully brushed his fingers against the rapper's neck, muttering: "You don't have a fever but it couldn't have been the fish either because I feel fine. Do you think it could have been your ice cream? It was the only thing I didn't eat and those vans are sus to me anyway." – "Probably but please stop talking about food", the older groaned, wiping his lips on some toilet paper. His legs still felt wobbly, so he was glad the Aussie helped him up. As soon as he stood upright, he doubled over again, arms wrapped around his middle, gasping: "Oh god, it hurts." Felix rubbed his back sympathetically. "Please remind me to never eat from a place with wheels again", he whispered hoarsely, leaning into his boyfriend's side as the younger guided him outside. Steadying his hyung, the dancer chuckled: "Will do but now, let's get you home." They found a bench and Felix let his boyfriend sit while he pulled out his phone to call them a taxi. Changbin kept his eyes closed, taking deep breaths as he hoped for the cool night air to soothe his nausea. His stomach was in painful knots but another feeling settled there too: guilt. Finally getting the opportunity to spend time with his boyfriend, Changbin had to ruin it. "Hyung?", the Aussie asked quietly. Changbin carefully opened one eye to look at the younger. "A taxi should be here soon. How do you feel?", Felix cooed sadly. Tearing up, the rapper whispered: "I-I'm sorry, Lix. I really wanted tonight perfect and now I ruined it." – "What are you talking about? You didn't ruin anything! I missed you and I finally got to spend time with you. Alone. I can tell you put a lot of thought into this and I'm grateful for the nice evening. Yeah, I'm sad it had to end this way but I'm sad because I wished you could enjoy it as much as I did", Felix hummed, brushing the tears away before placing a kiss on his boyfriend's forehead.
Their taxi came soon and Felix helped Changbin up. They settled in the back of the car silently, the rapper leaning against Felix' shoulder, completely exhausted. At least his boyfriend had enjoyed their date. Felix himself relaxed to the quiet rumbling of the car's engine, one hand gently rubbing the other's knee. They were already halfway to their dorm, when Changbin tensed and sat up. Worriedly, the Aussie looked over at him, only to see that the rapper's skin tone had turned a few shades paler. Knowing they wouldn't be able to pull over, Changbin leaned his elbows on his knees, hands cupped over his mouth as he tried to breath steadily through his nose. If he could at least hold off the nausea till they made it home. Despite his determination, Felix could tell the older was losing his fight, so he hurriedly pulled out the crumpled popcorn bag and nudged the rapper's arm. "Bin", he whispered, trying to catch his hyung's attention, "You're okay. Use this if you need to." Changbin nodded, hands shaking as he clutched the paper bag. He tried to hold it together, but Felix placed a comforting hand between his shoulder blades and repeated: "It's okay, you'll probably feel better after you get it all out." Still fighting it, the rapper gritted his teeth but the next pothole sent his stomach up his throat. Lurching forward, he sealed the paper bag around his mouth and nose as he brought up a thick stream of his dinner. The vehicle kept moving, so Felix wrapped his arm around his boyfriend's shoulders to steady him as the older continued to throw up. Changbin doubted he'd ever be able to enjoy either ice cream or sashimi again.
By the time the car pulled up to their dorm building, the rapper was reduced to dry heaves, so Felix paid and apologized to the driver before pulling the older out of the car, hoping the solid ground under his feet would help. Breathing in the cool air, Changbin relaxed. He sat on the pavement outside their building, wanting to get some fresh air to help his stomach settle before they'd go inside. Felix took the popcorn bag from him and threw it into a trashcan close by before crouching behind his boyfriend and massaging his shoulder. "You ready to go in?", the dancer asked after a few minutes. Changbin nodded and allowed the Aussie to pull him to his feet. He felt drained and just wanted to go to bed already, so he didn't mind when Felix walked him straight to their room and handed him a shirt and loose short to change into. The rapper tiredly got changed, while Felix fetched a bottle of water from the kitchen, giving their friends in the living room a heads up on what was going on. When he returned to their room, he pulled the trashcan next to the bed and climbed in, scooting as close to the wall as possible, as to not trap the older in case he needed to make a run for it. Despite still feeling queasy, Changbin accepted a few sips of water, desperate to get the taste off his tongue but too tired to go brush his teeth. Mumbling a quiet 'I love you', he curled up next to Felix, the younger spooning him from behind. "I love you too, hyung", the Aussie whispered, slipping his hand under the rapper's shirt and gently running his hand over the other's stomach, "It was a great date, thank you for taking me out. Hope you feel better when you wake up."
