"HUMANITIES GROWING AMBITION"

The parts moved together at a decent pace to form a quadruped around half the height out Lucy at the shoulder. It was a mix of mammalian and reptilian in general shape. The only parts that weren't wire were it's metal claws, plastic face and the jagged metal teeth behind it. It yawned for a moment like a snake adjusting it's jaw back into place. The dirtied but still clearly white face was very much animalistic. There were two hollow cavities for eyes and a long snout which oddly took the form of a human face at the end.

"It's nice to meet you Lucy, I'm Malady!"

Malady! Lovely name, and absolutely fascinating if it’s not rude to say so. And if it’s not rude to ask, what exactly are you?

"A bundle of wires clinging onto human consciousness. Essentially. Avatar of the Extinction originally, then a distortion, then I got assimilated by wires and yeah. Joined The Stranger. Honestly while it was some adjusting, really good for beating the fuck out of dysphoria."

"Yup. Found one, thought it was harmless, and kicked it aside. Especially as my lower legs were all metal. Turns out it snuck up my leg when it was out of my sight and just kind of... started to assimilate my body, though since it was just a wire and nothing else I was lucky enough to stay myself."
