Cyberpunk isn't doomerism. It was a warning/wake up call. Science fiction never predicts the future just makes the present look so far away. The cyberpunk you fear already was achieved yesterday. That should have been your call to action.So what's your plan.

When everything is for sale. When everything is advertised. When everything is oppressed all you got is you and a community you are apart of and/or build.

So you express who you are to the fullest. You be your weirdest, most romantic, most loving, queerest, and authentic self. You say fuck the system and move in ways that benefit your community and self. It may all go bad quickly but you'll find where you belong and enjoy the ride.

Or you hide who you are and opress yourself. You work that 9-5. 40 hours a week. Get that new car, work OT, never take that trip and you never become really you. Then you realize it didn't matter cause either way you are dying.

It was just a choice of the sound of a whimper or the sound of a gun....
