your favorite pedestrian

i lost my voice a couple days ago and today it reached the point where i've basically just had to stop talking all together, and i spent the afternoon with my lovely partner going into it feeling bad that i wasn't able to chat like we normally do but it turns out that silence can be so calming and so beautiful, especially as someone who struggles with anxiety and over-communicating sometimes...am trying to find the silver lining in what has mostly been extremely draining and frustrating

i have been home all day laying here and there only really getting up to get more water or pee and in a way i feel like my roommates cat, maybe if this was my reality every day i would find a way to be content like him

sick again feeling so angry at the world angry about being sick so much lately not understanding why or how. its so hard to feel so weak and so unable to control it and to just have to waste away the day
