likes - liminal spaces, drawing, true crime, cycling, horror, watching sunsets, rain, tragedy & comedy (the former especially), sushi, the Backrooms (wikidot version’s my fav but I like all canons), the School for Good and Evil series, listening to music etc

i legit had a dream (nightmare?) last night that me, my lil sis and my grandma were stuck in some incredibly liminal-looking fancy town surrounded by woods and we had tasks to do, like jump out the window of the mansion we were in and the mansion was also in a small forest and escape before dad comes (don’t ask idk) and I jumped first and managed to run away (only me, idk what the other 2 did) to what’s esentially the equivalent of the Scientology building of my dream, that’s how it looked, and I had fun for a while there with some fuckass entity and then they kicked me out in the most liminal, haunted looking forest known to man, and I can’t remember anything after that

like don’t get me wrong, it is also a very big problem and a common one at that, so I get why it is portrayed pretty much everywhere to the point where people associate attachment issues with it.

however, I feel like we’ve forgotten that it is not the only trauma-induced attachment style. disorganized and avoidant attachment styles exist too, too bad they aren’t getting much recognition.

last time i feel like I’ve seen one of those 2 talked about was with Jax from TADC and his avoidant attachment style, but that’s kinda it. even though this attachment style gets a little recognition here and there, it’s still nowhere near as much as his complete opposite.
