First Act ~ Chapitre Neuf
The day started with Hatori entering your room to wake you up. He did this every day because you cannot stand the sound of alarm clocks that all sound the same. At least Hatori varied his ways of waking you up, and you could tell by his way of doing it his mood of the day. Today, as he did so, he looked elsewhere, reflecting on several things at once as usual, but his eyes made it clear that his thoughts were on your discussion from the day before. He left the room quickly after this.
You got up and walked to the dresser in your room and took out your underwear of the day before heading to the closet. You pulled out a simple top, training pants and a vest in case it gets cold.
After being dressed up, you went down and walked to the kitchen where you found the rest of the group; Eijirou, Shoto and Izuku were slumped on the chairs around the table, each on their mobile phones, meanwhile Katsuki was preparing the breakfast and Hatori was nowhere to be seen.
“-Hi everyone!” you exclaimed before taking place around the table.
Each of them answered you, before returning to their respective occupations. You were looking around hoping to pass the time, but you quickly got bored and decided to annoy Katsuki.
You got up and walked up to him to see what he was up to.
“-Oh! This is my favorite breakfast!
-Ah?” the group’s cook exclaimed. “Now I know what I must never prepare ever again.”
By his smile you could tell he was satisfied with his reply, and you understood perfectly that he was also in the mood to annoy you in return.
“-And yet, I know very well that you will do it again!
-As if. Now go away, you’re bothering me while I cook.
-All right, but that’s just because I don’t want you to mess up my favorite dish!”
He was ready to fight back, but you sat down before he could do it. It was then that Hatori arrived, still looking lost in his thoughts.
He sat in his usual place between Eijirou and Izuku, which is in front of you.
You tried to get his attention and when it was done, with a glance he understood that you were wondering what was going on. He made you understand that he did not want to talk about it at the moment, and you quickly gave up the urge to discuss with him about how he felt in favour of starting a discussion with the other boys.
Katsuki finally brought you all the pans with your breakfast and ate.
After finishing your morning routine, you all put on our shoes and walk out of the house to the recording studio, which was a ten-minute walk from home.
You made sure that each of the instruments were tuned on. You took a picture of your favourite guitar and posted a tweet showing it.
And when it was time to begin, the laughter was no longer there. It was time to work.
Each of the boys went into the sound-proof studio to properly record their respective instruments during the morning, and you tried to pay attention to Hatori’s reactions, but there was nothing to suggest that he had a crush on one of the guys.
Every time one of the boys exchanged seats to record, you could see your brother watching who was next to record, but nothing more, he kept his sight on his cell phone.
Between recordings, the sounds were added together to create the music, adding a few effects to make the music worked.
During the lunch break, you paid attention to what your brother was doing.
But as you turned your face to his left, you realized that you should have done this move a little earlier. He was clearly being checked out. You decided then to activate your quirk, even if you would have preferred to do without it… You had warned Hatori that if needed you would use it, but right now you were about use it not only on him, but also on his neighbour.
Taking a bite of your meal, you were watching them both. As your quirk got barely activated, you felt their feelings so strong that they shared for each other without knowing it. But your brother’s neighbour also had another feeling, an even stronger feeling; he was confused.
As if he didn’t understand the feelings he had for Hatori, and that’s when you remember something important. In the meantime you have known him, he had dated a girl from the same school as you. He seemed to really like her back then, so you started to assume he was bi and probably did not know it. Thankfully, your quirk was telling you that he was at least into your brother, so you decided to help him understand his own feeling.
Once the break was over, you took your cell phone as you entered the studio to record your voice. You looked through the glass to make sure your brother was no longer close to his crush before sending him messages.
After being yelled at by Katsuki because you were sending messages instead of preparing everything, you started to take the sheets with the lyrics and the timing for each notes to be able to record.
Once the last official day of recording was over, you all returned to your home. On your way, you took out your phone and send messages to your brother.
“-So? Tomorrow, are you coming with us? Eijirou asked.
-Ah, personally I’m not too happy with my voice on Gunshot,” I said. “I’d like to work on it a little bit more and double-check everything.
-I’m going to stay with her,“ said your brother.
Your red-haired friend suddenly seemed sad about your decision, but quickly regained his spirits, smiled at the both of you and said:
“-Well, work well tomorrow!
-I really can’t do without going?” Katsuki asked, desperate.
“-Nope. You’re going to see your friends from school again, so enjoy it!”
