A greatest hits disc that included 6 previously unreleased tracks and a DVD that featured some of Aaliyah’s music videos. ‘I Care 4 U’ entered the U.S. Billboard 200 at #3 and at #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, and was certified platinum on January 15, 2003 💜

Last week I felt like my world was collapsing. I had just received devastating news and I didn’t know how to process it. I didn’t know how to deal with it. Being strong suddenly seemed like a foreign concept and so I buckled under the intense emotion that kept washing over me in waves. As in all defining moments of my life, I turn to you. I place my headphones over my ears and hit play on my phone allowing your haunting vocals to seep through and soothe my raging soul.

The irreplaceable, AALIYAH! I went to the same high school as Aaliyah(Detroit School of Arts). Myself and a few others were able to get the yearbook from her junior and senior year. I damn near FOUGHT to get one😂 I’m glad I was able to walk the same halls as her in that old raggedy original DSA building😂 That building and the kids were special man.
