L & R, since when did the sound that we hear become different?

   — Dazai blinked to see the young man get up after those blows he had received. Wow, they were violent with him, what happened to get to this point? Did he provoke them or was it the typical school bullying? Disgusting.

After listening to the other’s question, he shook his head.

    ❝ Don’t get me wrong, I don’t care. But I have a job that helps people and certain promise to fulfill. Can I know what happened? ❞

The somewhat blunt reply actually got rewarded with a crooked little grin from the boy. He began to dust his clothes off. “My upperclassmen are shitstains, and cowards to boot. That’s all.”

He glanced at the boy for a minute then at the money. He didn’t know what to do with it. He never kept up with prices at the bar even though he lived here. He let the cigarette rest in his lips as it slowly burned and kept staring at the money before pushing it back to the boy. It was too bothersome thinking on what to do so he simply returned it back. It was just ‘cola’ anyways. Doubt Izumo would care, right? Since it seemed like this boy wasn’t going anywhere any time soon he finally spoke with a bored toned. “Who are you…?” 

⌠❖⌡ “No vegetables, spicy food, fruits unless it’s pineapple on pizza, grape juice if it’s not artificial, but chicken and rice, fires, and PB sandwiches are okay, got it!” There was absolutely zero need for him to list all of those things out, but, he wanted to let the other know he was ‘listening’ to all that the other had said and not pretending to. “I think I know just the perfect thing to make then if you want to come to watch me you’re free to but don’t feel like you do! Here, in the meantime the TV is yours.” A smile as he slides the remote over to the other across the bar, after that he made his way into the kitchen to start preparing some food for the other.

Saruhiko mumbled a ‘thank you’ and took the remote, zapping through the channels on the TV for a stretch of ten minutes or so. He didn’t find anything even remotely interesting, regular TV kind of sucked as opposed to his favorite streaming site when it came to watchable things relevant to him. He gave up and instead followed Tatara into the kitchen, curious despite himself. 

“Tell me Fushimi-Kun, what kind of interested do you have then? You seem very smart, do you perhaps have an interest in technology or computers?” Munakata was the kind to always be picking up random people he found fascinating and adding them to Scepter 4. Once the food arrived he started eating before he got a message from Awashima Seri with detailed information on the boy’s background. He seemed to come from a wealthy family but he seemed to not be treated very well at least from the physical characteristics he could see.

“Unless you count online poker, not really.”

Izumo answered after grinning at victory screen on Saruhiko, he wasn’t at all surprised that he was winning with a strategic approach.

There was something different about Saru. He seemed….younger. “Hi.”

“Saru…hiko?”

“…..” Just stares up at him.
