            youngchul is running a little behind schedule today. it’s not the biggest deal in the world, but youngchul craves order. when everything falls into its usual syncopated rhythm youngchul can be at ease. but just one little misstep in his day throws off his entire balance. first he had overslept, which meant he had to speak to is ta after his third class to catch up on the notes he missed and apologize for his absence. then he had a... let’s say important meeting delayed due to the tardiness of the supplier he intended to meet. so now instead of getting to slip back to his dorm and enjoy his lunch period in solitude, youngchul is forced to remain on campus and solve his hunger problems. so, the dining hall it is.

            only the dining hall is packed to the brim with fellow students, and the noise is so loud it causes his temples to throb. if the weather had been nicer he’d take his tray of food out into the quad to sit under a tree somewhere by his lonesome. but there’s still a chill that clings to the air and the clouds are fat and dark with the promise of rain, so inside youngchul must remain. his eyes scan the room, desperate for an empty table. he doesn’t find one, but a seat. right across from someone he’d particularly wish not to strike up a conversation with. but youngchul already feel’s dizzy from hunger so he sighs and accepts his fate, marching right up to lei zhao.

            it wouldn’t be smart to conduct any illegal behavior under the school’s roof. not only is it reckless, but it’s just asking to be caught. youngchul doesn’t have any particular impulse to face the wrath of his dorm resident assistant nor the law, so he keeps his side business to a location that can’t be tied to him. but youngchul is a potion brewing major, so there are some allowances he can make, with the cover of his major. there are bowls of water scattered all around the windowsill to varying degrees of fullness and exposure to the moon, and there’s a line of drying herbs hanging above his bed. ingredients he can pass off as schoolwork, as all are innocent enough. 

            so youngchul keeps various ingredients around their room, and he knows sometimes it can be inconvenient. pollen is never fun indoors and some of his plants tend to get a little grope-happy when the sun reaches the highest point in the sky. he understands it’s not the most ideal situation to live in, so youngchul happily compensates intaek with fair prices with the dealers, or freebies here and there. they’ve found a good balance, so youngchul expects some respect for what he does. intaek isn’t ignorant, even if he doesn’t participate. all youngchul asks for is some understanding. 

whew now that acceptance posts are all up i can finally get on my intro! this is your second-in-command admin b, ready for action!  youngchul’s pages are up but they’re ugly so i’m just gonna give a little background and some plot ideas under the cut. feel free to give this a like and i’ll come flying into your dm’s!
