made my therapist cry today:/

Had this dream where a guy I’d only ever spoken to online was suddenly standing in the doorway to my bedroom watching me while I was laying on the floor, reading. I tried not to look surprised and frightened at him being there because I was afraid he’d take my fear as idk, disapproval, or as reason to escalate. He explained his reasons as to being there and laid down on the floor next to me and started touching me, and I said nothing, I had a feeling he shouldn’t be provoked. By and by he started fucking me and while he was on top of me he smiled and asked, ”Does it feel good?” And I lied and said yes. And the next second his whole face changed, smile turning evil, eyes crazed and hateful, and he dug his thumbs into my throat as hard as he could. And I had time to think that I knew this would happen and what could I have done to prevent it? Before I realized, that is, I was in some random bedroom and not my apartment, therefore it must be a dream; praying to God it’s a dream because it’s so horrible, and I forced myself awake. But there’s always those few seconds before you wake where you genuinely feel like you’re dead meat.
