European Tree Frogs, Hyla aborea, are found in Europe, Asia and parts of Africa, but not - as the name of this illustration suggests - in Suriname in South America. Presumably, there’s been some name change or error.

The European Tree Frogs are generally common, but in decline and extinct in some areas of western and central Europe because of habitat loss and fragmentation, as well as changes to habitat caused by chemical pollutants and climate change.
