“As– Flowey, you were good while I was gone, right?” Frisk questioned the flower as they put their backpack down with a little pat. After leaving the underground with all their friends, the pacifist obviously started going back to the school they hated so much. That cursed building was the reason they fell down that hole in the first place; however, that was no longer their main concern throughout the day. No, Frisk now had another being to worry about.

Flowey.

While the once sociopath was better, they still had to be watched at all times. Frisk used to take them to school, but that wasn’t an option anymore after the uprooted soul used some…  particular words towards another student. Now, the fallen child could only hope that a. their family kept an eye on them and/or b. they stayed out of trouble. 

             ** Currently, the little flower was on the windowsill, face pressed against the glass.

Their little face was upturned, staring at the clouds with a bored expression. The sun was highlighting their bright yellow petals. A soft sigh bent their stem closer to the window.**

“YEAH, I GUESS. NOBODY HAS GLARED AT ME YET IF IT’S ANY CONSOLATION.”

A small smirk

and a small

puff of air

through the nostrils was the only sign of

a m u s e m e n t

the flower got, instead of the usual

wholehearted

laugh they’d had in previous times.

Flowey seemed to have an..

Almost confused

look on their face.

A laugh nearly bubbled up inside them,

and their bangs

hung

in front of their eyes,

blocking them almost completely.

“HEH HEH...HEH...”

         ** The silence was suffocating. 

They took this moment to really look at the human, the sinister look on their face, blocked by their dark locks. Hands relaxed against their sides, a white powder seemingly prominent amongst their small fingers...Flowey’s eyes widened.**

⁕ I fell into the CORE. ⁕ Like Gaster. ⁕ But you probably don’t remember him. ⁕ No one in this timeline does.

It seemed Flowey didn’t notice the chalk-like dust on their hands; however, they took note of the hesitant tone in his voice.

«I did. But… It got boring.»

         ** A scowl down-turned their lips, stem bowing away from the human slightly.

They felt uncomfortable, even moreso than usual, around them. Something about the kid’s tone of voice made them shiver. It bothered them even more that this was something that never happened in a previous reset. The kid was always happy with the ending they recieved. However, he wouldn’t let the kid know that. A smile, the slightest bit shaky, replaced the grimace.**
