I recently was is a car accident where the other driver was going 70+ MPH in the wrong lane without headlights on very late at night. We had a head on collision and I was sent to the hospital and spent 4 days there recovering.

Tragically, both passengers in the other car did not survive. I miraculously made it out with only a few broken bones and no other injuries. I broke my left wrist and my right hip (right half of my pelvis). I won’t be able to walk the first month and will hopefully be able to walk with a walker in 6-8 weeks. I won’t be able to walk on my own for 2-3 months.

The other driver that hit me was uninsured. We are expecting my insurance to cover the majority of my hospital bills and replace my car. We have gotten lawyers involved and have not heard back from my insurance in a week. I have been left unable to work and unable to get around, being as I have no car and I am stuck in a wheelchair for the time being. We are very worried that even if I do get money from my insurance, it will still not be enough to cover my medical bills.
