I guess I gotta be patient, but I don't wanna be

I want to scream. I want to punch the wall until every bone in my hand is broken. I want to feel something other than anger and resentment. I want to something different to happen. Anything. Even if it's the sharpest pain or deepest sadness, I want something new.

In no way can I confidently say I've changed for the better, but hopefully this step is in the right direction.

I'm a child. Throwing a tantrum. Kicking and screaming. Because I don't want to do the things I have to do. I don't want to have to do anything. I want to feel no obligations to anyone, or anything. I want to choose. I want control. I want to feel for a single moment that what I want matters. But it doesn't. My path has been drawn. My fate has been written. I can be a good boy, and go nowhere. Or I can kick. I can scream. And end up there anyway.
