I've posted some of my finds to my main account but thought I'd make a blog for 2kki posts instead. I just think that its such a beautiful game so I'll document things that interest me here.

Situation sucks really bad. All my wallpapers and effects are gone but I've given myself a minute and I'm just gonna have to lock in and do it all again and that's okay. I'll see a load of areas and I can make some cool stuff for you guys.
You'll also get that Abyss post that I was talking about real soon because I need to make my way back there again to unlock the short cut lol which is a massive pain. I want to get all my old shortcuts back too.
Haven't done the usual tags because this is just me complaining really and is more of just an update to anyone following me.

The Abyss is my favourite area in the game.
I really want to go back here, but the journey takes so long I feel like I have to schedule it in a diary or something.
A screenshot of this bridge is what got me to start playing this game in the first place.
This area means a lot to me. The mood is so perfect and I have a lot of very precious memories sat by this bridge.
Next time I go I'll make a post to document the journey.
Dark urban locations.
I'm really drawn to areas set in familiar urban environments. There's something very calming about them.
Places with calm skies.
I love calm areas. I particularly like the bridge in Abyss becasuse after the hardship of getting there it's very serene.

Brass band
I was gonna explore but someone was playing the trombone so I had no choice but to join them. Sat here for about an hour I think. It was cool seeing people join or watch the performance.

Someone made a Yume Nikki maker on itchio! Its super cool. Check it out! I made a few worlds which I think are pretty cool.
Its pretty limited right now but I would definitely check it out. You can make a world in a few minutes and then you connect it to the world by finding a yellow diamond. Its pretty small rn. I found a link for me in about 4 areas. Go try find mine even. I'll be vey impressed if you find the last one with the traffic light. Good luck and have fun exploring!
Weird green places.
Green is one of my favourite colours. I love the way that green areas in this game have a tendancy of just being a bit odd.
Kinda late for me but I've finished all my work so I can enjoy my summer to the fullest. Tonight I wanted to detail (to an extent) one area I had a great time in and I think anyone intested in YNO should check out.
I was exploring places connected to the forest and found the Crosswalk to Nowhere. In my process looking for another area I stumbled across Roadkill Forest. I dipped in to see if there was a badge to get on entry, but the kind of simple design drew me in so I checked it out.
Very quickly it became apparent that this wasn't a normal area. The closest comparison is Dense Woods from the original Yume Nikki. But it really subverted my expectations. There were so many small details and interactions. I was really tense the whole time and it even got a jump out of me.
I won't go into too much detail because its such a great area. One of the most creative horror events I've experienced in this game. It really felt like I was responsible for, or just passively watching what was happening. My only advice would be to explore as much as possible. Go back and forth along the road as much as you can.

Red and painful places.
There's quite a few of these in the game, but I'm not a huge fan of them, so I only get to see them really when someone takes me there or I accidentally stumble into one.
They all end up being quite memorable because they stick out so much compared to the places I actively seek out.
Cool post soon. I was wandering kinda aimlessly and saw a place and I thought I'd just go in quickly incase there was badge for walking in and ended up in a legitimately well done horror segment that actually had me pretty tense. I'm excited to tell whoever I can about it.
Met someone cool today. They showed me some really pretty spots that I can't wait to post.

Visited Elysium Pools (I think its called that) today. Very interesting. Make sure you have a grey Nexus before going. Its a lot less lonely.
