ive tried typing this out a few times and im sure this is missing context bc i never watched bfdia and maybe that show completely proves or disproves this bc I think it has a yoyelite plot? but tpot 23 is making me really curious about the effects the yoyelite is having on the numbers. zero says its whats making the negative number zombies and tennis ball says its dangerous and needs to be buried deep underground and handled by someone more responsible/who knows what theyre doing

a lot of the episodes lately are really interesting to be because a lot of the assumptions made about algebraliens and their origin/culture/abilities were COMPLETELY wrong. for a bit i think it was thought that the powers scale in relation to value or numerical order, like either closer to 1 is more powerful or the higher the number the more power, but thats been completely debunked obviously. that also required the assumption that the numbers powers are naturally occurring, which is also untrue. that detail is important 2 me because if they HAD been naturally occurring, then the algebraliens wouldve probably developed natural protections in their mind/body against these powers, protecting them from getting hurt and such

because the powers not natural, and in other cases literally turns the numbers into zombies with a value of less than nothing, the way the characters talk about it makes me think the yoyelite could be emphasizing some of their more deranged behaviors. the characters with less power like 5 and 7 seem relatively normal, but those with a lot of power like 1 and 4 are totally unhinged. 1 and 4 already seemed strange and offputting, bc of how one was so lonely and desperate for attention, and four was already protective and withdrawn, but their behavior after getting powers and having them for a while feels really intensified. one is furious and desperate for revenge and four is violent and scary and overprotective. it might just be a natural progression after something as traumatic as threes death thing but i just think itd be really interesting if the power is sort of warping their minds
