this blog blends ic and ooc - i am isolated IRL and have DID. this is the most human interaction i get in a day where i'm also allowed to be myself and not mask. i get that doesn't gel with people 👍 but i am generally (nobodys perfect) good at pulling myself away if i'm not having any fun
^ i don't genuinely believe rp things are happening to me. but i do feel my characters' reaction to things very strongly. if you're stressing them out, you're likely stressing me out.

my characters and i hate how comfortable tumblr rpc is with unwanted sexual comments / flirtatious passes. this community is too comfortable with textbook sexual harassment and regularly conflates it with puritanism. ✨Nuance~✨
IC arguments are fine if they make sense and aren't just "your flat affect emotionally unavailable character isn't niceys enough to mine"; i have a flat affect and am usually trying to be as amicable as i can. i do not have the ability to fake it.
if i don't know the mun, "friendly bullying" etc is off the menu unless you enjoy consequences for your character's actions.
IC arguments that go on for longer than a month, i'm checking out of.
don't start IC beef with me or @ me if we don't follow each other. were you raised in a barn?
if you actually genuinely want me to respond to you, send me an ask or reply to/reblog my post, do not just dashwatch me. when muns i don't really know well do this, it just feels weird.
not dealing with characters who post about incest (especially stridercest), noncon/dubcon, or csa.
not checking up on anyone who cuts ties with me, and expecting precisely the same.
don't take a shit in the same section of the sandbox you want to play toys in.

Controversial take but I think we more often need to accept that sometimes it’s not personal, but that a person still doesn’t fuck with us. They don’t want a relationship with us, they don’t wanna be our friend. We’re not their type for whatever reason. They don’t hate us but they aren’t interested in building something with us in any capacity. It’s not that they have a lot going on, it’s not that they can’t receive love, it’s not what a lot of people concoct just not to deal with the sting of rejection. Sometimes we’re just not somebody’s type. And that’s okay and we don’t have to curl up in fetal position in a corner about it. We will not be the type of every person we encounter and that is natural and nothing to lose sleep over
