I was asked to go sing at a buddy of mines church on Father’s Day. Singing is one of those hidden talents I have that I don’t like to talk about. It wasn’t until the kids made their presentations that it hit me. The kids were going around giving their fathers or father figures these gifts. This cute kid came to me and handed me this. I was taken back then smiled. His innocent act of kindness warmed my heart. Reminds me of my kiddo. While I can’t be with her, I know she thought of her father with her early morning text.
