Seriously how did you get so smart? People as gorgeous as you should not be that smart haha It's just not fair, you've won the genetic lottery why you gotta be all well rounded and intelligent? Haha
I’ve always felt more confident in myself mentally vs physically.
I’m pretty sure I’m the most attractive I’ve ever been right now, which could certainly have something to do with fully embracing the idea that beauty is subjective and goes beyond what mainstream culture conveys to be conventionally attractive – and more.
I think most usually “come into” themselves later in their lives rather than before or during their sexual development, so that’s a part, too.
I dunno, I don’t think I’m super conventionally attractive, but maybe I am.
I moved houses/schools every year or sooner until I graduated high school, and have actually continued that pretty much to the “t"since then. I’m sure not having the chance to fully assimilate into a community of peers played a role in my lack of interest or investing time into my appearance, and being confident of it.
My family wasn’t big on supporting any inclination I had to be feminine or spend time on my physical appearance, either.
And I honestly didn’t really have an interest, because the way I was raised by them from the beginning was, from my perspective, consistently belittling of any urge to be feminine or attractive to other people. Not like they didn’t want me to be feminine or attractive, but, they would always very subtly equate femininity to weakness or something I should steer clear of if I wanted to be perceived as strong.
So for a while I was aggressively against or uncomfortable with even trying to look attractive. So, I had a lot of time to grow mentally, I think.
I’m sure there are a lot of other things, too. Those are some of my observations.
Thanks for the compliments! ! I’m not sure you were really looking for an answer as in depth as this, but I think a lot about how my seemingly drastic levels of physical attractiveness has effected my life, so, that’s that.
No honestly that was the exact kind of answer I was looking for haha I love reading people’s in depth analyses. Especially interesting peoples’, and I gotta say that makes a lot of sense. But follow up question, would say you developed more mentally prior to entering the industry, or was it like kind of eye opening at the start?
