From 14.02 until 28.02. There’s only so much time until Valentine’s Day, so the event will be longer, to give everyone enough time to create something.

Hey guys I’m coming at you with some knowledge that could help some beginner/intermediate digital artists! If you don’t know about color dodge in Photoshop, it’s a feature you can use that can enhance and really make your drawings POP!

Example:

Without Color Dodge:

WITH COLOR DODGE:

This tool is useful for creating glowy effects, like maybe a glowing mushroom at night, streetlights, light hitting skin and more. 

Use it by creating a layer on top of your drawing and switching the type to what you see above! Make sure to choose very saturated colors to what you’re going over. For instance: if you’re making skin glow with light, use a saturated reddish/brown.
