welp ableton bugged out so hard today so I reset the prefs. but then none of my plugins were working🙂🙂so I had to re download.. rescan.... reassess my life. lots of hours watching a loading bar. so I started to do random things like pack for TX this weekend and tweeze my eyebrows. I started to wonder why brown people have so much hair, cuz my hairline legit connects to the top of my brows, isn’t Pakistan a warm climate why did we need all this body hair???? then I remembered body hair is furry and cute. fast forward 5 hours now our sessions are opening up (almost) normally and I’m listening to some shit we have nearly finished and it’s ~~~exciting~~~ ...sorry this video is such a tease cuz soon isn’t really thatttt soon. so ima stfu now and get back to work 😘😘😘😘😘

Never Been Hurt is here ✨ when I tell you guys this one’s been a long time coming… we wrote this one with our friends @codytarpleyy & @loudtigermusic back in June 2017 & for reference y’all, that’s the same month NW Pt1 came out 😅 a year ago we sent it to our friends @beauzworld and between Beijing & Los Angeles, we passed the session back and forth until we were all floored with the production. belated Eid photo dump ❤️ even though times are heavy and strange I hope everyone was able to celebrate with their families or at least with a great meal, as there are many of our brothers and sisters suffering without these comforts right now. I’m just grateful that we have our “barkaat walla ghaar,” my family is safe and well, and my gora mans made homemade pakoras for the first time and killed it 🤤last note I’ll leave this caption on, maybe unrelated but nvm maybe really really related. we should all want better for our world, nations, ourselves, our peers. it isn’t disloyalty to question the acts of our leaders, there is no betrayal in pointing out the faults of people who share the same ethnicity, citizenship, or religious views. that is love, it gets twisted and the message has been polluted and adulterated; but if you see those who are oppressed and in turn feel yourself ignoring or rationalizing their suffering, just at least remember your privilege allows for this. it’s not lost on me that if fate handed any of us different cards it could’ve been you or me instead. sending love to everyone everywhere, from LA to Gaza to the moon...and back ☪️❤️

I spent a good portion of this year feeling angry, full of despair, let down by loved ones and strangers ~ I’m sure everyone can relate on a personal or big picture level. I really do have a lot of hope though. that word can feel so flimsy but this pandemic ripped the blindfold off in many ways. socially, environmentally, spiritually. what else to do but go forward? love to you all. happy new year. cheers to 2021🍾
