Watching the City of Lover concert I feel like this needs to be said. Taylor, in case you're reading this, please know that we all love you unconditionally and support you always and trust that you have your reasons for everything, but I feel it is important that you hear it from us, the fans. Not rescheduling any of the european tour dates feels like a punch in the face. Us european Swifties (as MANY other non- north american fans as well, I'm sure), often do feel left out. America of course is your biggest market, and we do appreciate the tour dates we do usually get here, but we always have it harder to feel part of this community than your fans from the states. We only got three dates for the rep tour, which MANY fans couldn't access, merch is really expensive for us to get due to shipping costs, etc. So when you kicked off the Lover era and you did several interviews here, then played L' Olympia AND then announced all those fantastic european tour dates, it felt like this once, this was our chance. It felt like you heard us in the past and put the focus on europe a bit more, and that felt fantastic. Flash forward and Corona is coming along, hard times for all of us. It was of course inevitable that festivals and shows had to get cancelled, but when it was made official we were obviously all devastated (as are you, I assume!). When we then got your statement regarding it, stating that only the US and Brazil shows will be rescheduled, not even mentioning Europe with a single word- that hurt. Even if rescheduling wouldn't work for financial/timely/organisational reasons, a word of acknowledgment would have been nice. "Sorry guys, we can't make this happen. You are however seen and not forgotten". This way, all we felt was irrelevant. Hurt, replaceable and irrelevant. For so many of us these shows were a silver lining diring these really strange amd hard times. Now we just feel sad, for all sorts of reasons. Please also bare in mind that, if we're talking business, europe is a big market for you. The Berlin show completely sold out in minutes, as did a lot of the other shows. A lot of european Swifties have probably spent WAY more money on supporting you than american fans have had to, due to the already mentioned factors of travel, merch etc. This makes it even harder for us to understand why we are completely being dropped in this matter.
Taylor, I wholeheartedly support you in EVERYTHING you do, and I love you endlessly and owe so much to you. I in no way mean to be rude or hurtful, but I needed to say this, hoping that maybe it'll show you a perspective you hadn't considered yet.
