intro post :D
Hi!! I'm yakyak/yaksteria
I'm 16, if that bothers you for whatever reason and you'd rather not interact I understand
I love sewing, but I've loved drawing for a wayyy longer time. I also love writing my own stories, including fanfiction, though it will be a long long time before I get confident enough on here to post any of my cringe fanfiction.. I also write poems sometimes which maybe I'll post someday but idk yet. I'm nowhere near perfect at the three hobbies I just mentioned, but they distract me from my honestly really boring and sometimes stressful life so I keep doing them.
Because I love sewing, drawing, and writing so much.. I've combined all three in my first ever webcomic, Flight 262! I'm still in the process of actually writing the whole thing, so it may be a little while until I start posting anything about that. I had previously posted some art related to it in June, but I took it down because I realized I was not very proud of it. Thanks to the very few people who saw those posts and left notes anyway, but I'm going to take some time to really figure out the whole story of Flight 262 before I get into making promo art/pages and all that. I don't know how long that will take as I am a sort of slow writer, but it will come when I'm proud of it and it's ready.
Even though my own webcomic is very dear to me, there's another one I really like called Lackadaisy. It's really amazing, amazing like.. The Amazing Digital Circus.. my favorite characters from each (Rocky Rickaby/Jax respectively) also happen to share the same VA so that's cool. I'm not going to list them all, but there's a lot of other shows/movies I really like I'll probably talk about at some point. I'll make a separate post below this for those maybe, music interests will also be included there if you're interested
I'm trying to dedicate more time to making actual fanart pieces instead of just doodles.. it's a whole lotta fun when I do make them!! I am trying to write for my webcomic at the same time though so.. fanart posts will be sporadic. I have some ideas I want to do soon though, mostly related to TADC/Lackadaisy. I also have a tiny bit of more old art I for some reason didn't post back in March, I'll get to posting that here soon
also just a quick note for anyone who may want to reach out to me for whatever reason: I get a little nervous/unsure when interacting with anyone online. If I ignore something you're asking me/telling me, I'm sorry, but I probably have a good reason. especially if you're a lot older than me/I just feel uncomfortable talking to you. Also if you're asking me something weird. I don't think I have the audience for that to happen but ya never know..
