*König never considered his lighter anything special. Just an old matte-black Zippo — heavy, worn, covered in tiny scratches. His name “König” was carved into the body with a knife so it wouldn’t get lost.*

That same evening you bring the lighter to his office where he’s sitting over reports. You place it on the edge of the desk, hoping your hint will finally reach him. He gives a short nod and picks it up once you leave.
König clicks it out of habit and freezes. On the body, around his carved name, there’s now a crooked little heart scratched into the metal. He forgets to breathe. His face burns under the balaclava.
*This… can’t be what I think it is 😳 Or… can it? Fuck, I’m completely losing it…*
Later the lighter gains a 👑 sticker — which again makes him blush.
*Fuck, is she teasing me for being “König”?..*
Then she finishes him off by sticking on a 🔥 while they’re smoking together and casually says, “Because you’re hot.”
Now every time he feels the scratched heart around his name and the stickers under his fingers, he blushes.
