Just a PSA. Just because a traumagenic system doesn't fit your idea or narrative of how a DID/OSDD system should exist does not mean they're faking.

We all formed from unique experiences. Whilst it might not be your truth, it is their truth and their reality.

There is such little data on DID and even less so on OSDD, so before you invalidate or fakeclaim a system, think about where that hatred comes from.

It’s not too fun to be labeled as the host. I take that term with pride knowing I’m the one who can get us through daily tasks and challenges but it also comes with its hardships. It seems so simple to be a host, everyone assumes all you have to do is walk around throughout the day and vanish when something comes up that you aren’t equipped to deal with but that’s not true. I’m a always assumed to be the original in the body.. I’m not the original, I never will BE the original, but I still take this body like it’s my own even though it’s far from my own. It’s hard to look at photos or my reflection because while everyone says this is my body, it doesn’t look like my body. It doesn’t look like me. It’s not me.

I may happily take the role of host but that doesn’t mean I enjoy the hardships of the role. Sure it’s not as straining as being a trauma holder or a protector but I still deal with things I shouldn’t have to. All the hate, the harassment, the fear, the bodily damage. I deal with all of it. I can pretend to be happy and content but I am so tired of it. It’s hard being seen as the original. It’s hard forgetting things because someone else fronted. It’s all so difficult. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. Im the best equipped for the role.

Friendly reminder to tell your hosts if you have any (if not the closest person to a host) that they’re appreciated and loved, we could really use it sometimes. (-🩸)

They posted us again. And now i will deep dive into why their arguments against andrews message are incorrect.

In yellow they are claiming we told them ‘to go die’ which is incorrect as if you read our first post we are asking for the subreddit ITSELF to die, not the people inside of it, the subreddit itself gives these bullies room to exist and bully people solely because they are living life.

In red they claim bullying is not allowed, however they do not take into account that bullying can look like several different things all at one time. Just because these redditors posts don’t fit yours or the mod’s definition to ‘bullying’ doesn’t mean it isn’t bullying.

In green they claim that we are making things up on that this user hates us, while I personally find this statement true, to others in the system it can be seen as false, seeing as you have posted us three times now. It is very obvious that you have something against us if you are constantly finding our posts just to repost it.

And finally in blue they claim that our community lies to kids on how DID is formed. This is not the case for most users, while some have said such things most people have not, in fact we as a system have not even mentioned system creation outside of the one instance of the word ‘traumagenic’ in our intro post. I find it hilarious that you claim that against us when we haven’t mentioned anything about system creation outside of the one instance.

Thank you for being at least semi respectful on the topic of you having been asked to leave us alone, and just as that was your last post on us, this will be our last post on you. I had felt the need to point out some errors in your post here, however I am more than open to you sending us a dm or even commenting if you want to explain exactly why you believe we are faking despite our mentions of diagnosis. I also find it slightly ironic how you doubt such a thing when you do not know us personally.

Who are you, as someone who sits on Reddit and likely isn’t in the psychology field in any way, qualified to tell me that IM a faker? Who are you to tell others that they’re faking? You sit on Reddit and bully people so severely that they feel the need to off themselves over it. You are all sick sick individuals with no real life if this is how you spend your time. I highly doubt that any of you have qualifications for any of what you do on that subreddit and you all need to get a life outside of this, sorry that systems existing makes you all so angry but that’s not my problem here.
