너무나도 사랑스러운 소녀들. 음악에 빠진다는 건 너무나 멋진 일이지. 우에노 주리의 사랑스러움은 진짜 저 세상 것이었다. 시종일관 미소 지으면서 보다가 이 장면에선 어깨를 들썩이고 고개를 흔들면서 리듬 타며 봤다. 재즈란 참 멋진 거였어. 그리고 사족을 덧붙이지 않은 엔딩까지. 행복과 설렘을 만끽하는 아이들 얼굴이 길게 여운이 남는다. 일본 영화의 장점만을 모두 살려낸 영화. 정말 괜찮은 음악 영화를 봤다.

여러가지 갖은 고난을 겪으면서도 재즈를 포기하지 않는 소녀들과 남자애의 강단이 너무 멋있었다. '역시 순탄하게 흘러가는 건 인생이 아니지' 생각하며 보기도 했고. 오합지졸이었던 고등학생들이 점점 성장해가면서 음악으로 의리를 다지고. 배달해준 도시락을 먹은 원래 밴드 부원들이 식중독에 걸려서 '스윙 걸즈'가 얼떨결에 밴드를 시작했다는 엉뚱한 설정까지 완벽해. 그런데 우에노 주리는 사랑스러운 척을 안 해도 존재 자체가 어떻게 그렇게 사랑스러울까?
