𝑅𝑒𝒶𝒹𝓎 𝓉𝑜 𝒸𝒽𝑒𝒸𝓀 𝒾𝓃?

Periwinkle journeyed to her ancestral homeland, jotting down notes, sketches, and overall documenting the entire experience. Unsurprisingly, a lot appeared much different at the surface level; a few centuries will do that to you. Before she could even begin to think of exploring, she would need to find lodgings.

Her parents, the caring souls they are suggested that she book a room at a hotel prior to departing. They wanted to make certain that their baby girl was safe and sound. Periwinkle assured them she’d keep herself safe, and come back in one piece.

Research conducted by the young goth brought her to a building known as the Belcourt Motel. Her instincts told her that this was the place she needed to be, to immerse herself in the past as much as she possibly could. Entering the lobby, she happened to stumble into a mild altercation featuring a middle-aged woman and her daughter.

The rather bored-looking lady forced to endure this drabble was astonishingly gorgeous, it was almost unreal. Her dark, enticing attire, her pristine complexion, her luxuriously luminescent locks; she was a knockout in every sense of the word. Before Periwinkle knew it, the mother and daughter were gone, and she was now the beauty’s focus, if only momentarily.

“O-Oh, sorry,” she responded. “I was actually looking to book a room here. Do you know if there are any vacancies?

Looking the other up & down, Alyssia's attitude completely did a 1-80 the moment the girl had asked about vacancies. “ Oh ! ” ---- With a spin of her heel, a dainty hand rose, fingertips just barely touching her own collarbone.                                                                        “ You're lookin' at Belcourts official owner so, I can definitely tell ya, I got vacancies ! ” 

--- Opal irises focused ; an unreadable expression painting porcelain vanity as she observed the other girl before her.  —— This one.., there wasn't any supernatural energy emitting from her..but there was something very unique coursing through those veins of hers - perhaps a witch ?? - One with hidden power that was looking to be awakened? - Hm, could be..

There was an almost visible aura upon her that would cause the male to seek answers, yet as words would try to form at his lips–her own words would hex him into silence. Perhaps it was due to her radiant beauty, perhaps due to his anxiety that had halted his ability to speak to another human being regularly. Had he truly been so shelter all these years that it would hinder him from starting a stable relationship with another? Darkened hues would fall to the pages as she spoke, trying not to seem rude by staring at her as she squeezed by. He could smell her fragrance, one of rosemary, sage, other spices he could make out–yet barely recognize. Like the witchy aftertaste of a brew not yet concocted yet with each inhale he’d find a new vexing smell to overwhelm his sense. 

Words, however soft and small, would tighten the grip on his throat once again; though his brain would lift the filter between cognitive thinking and speaking–causing his lips and tongue to form a sentence he wasn’t sure he should have said.

Which was not true, as Orion would simply be a male nearing his thirties with no qualifications to even wield such a weapon. Perhaps the Marty Robbins reference would slide by–maybe she wouldn’t point out the obvious Fallout: New Vegas reference, and he could get away with looking dumb in front of vexingly beautiful being before him. 

“ Huh ?? I- I don’t get it.” .. brow arched, lip raising as she desperately tried to rack her brain to find the reference but, alas, she had never even played a video game in her life --- so she had no choice but to take him literally.    whiiich, was something she did a lot. 

—— “ Oh! you mean like.. that sexy Lone Ranger ?! ”  Instantly swooning, hand dramatically draped over her head as her figure  leaned against the bookcase. “ A strong, masked man fighting the outlaws of the old west ~ ah~ what a stud ! ” Pushing herself to stand back upright, she clicked her way over ; right before him. “ Big iron, of course ! --  I was just about to ask          —— is that a gun ?? or are ya just happy to see me ? ” -- *wink*

"I've had it sitting in my drawer for months & I keep forgetting to give it to you." Alyssia rose a brow, head tilting to the side as vivid opals scanned over the coffin shaped box. “ Is it bones of some kind~? Perhaps.. human remains ! ” Her eyes lit up with her playful tone. Delilah shook her head, handing the box over to the witch.                        "Nope~ It's lots of jewelry. I know you like gold & accessories so -" --- 

Opening the coffin, the demoness was met with multiple brilliant pieces.. All of which appeared to be Egyptian. --- A golden Pharaoh, an ankh, A shimmering scarab, the Horus bird &.. was this? --- “ Is this one.. Anubis ? ” --- A delicate touch retrieved the pendent , thumb brushing the dust from the Jackals face as hollowed eyes flickered a gold glow..

Eyes would stay focused on the other’s face, using his peripheral to stare at the beauty of her body; though iris’s would stay focused on the other, as to respectfully maintain eye contact. However, even the shining eyes of the other would captivate him in a way that made his heart throb, blood warming his body–cheeks becoming flush as her sultry lips would move in manners unseen by his eyes before. Anxiety would pull on it’s grip around his throat, the barbed wire that wrapped around the flesh of his neck; causing him to be unable to speak. 

The words upon the page would not betwixt him, nor curse, nor bind his lips shut; but the beauty of her very being. Lip would be licked as saliva would coat his chapping skin, though eyes would move away as if fear of it’s intent would cause him to seem ill-minded, perverted perhaps.

His fawning mannerisms were endearing to the demoness. & Can you blame her ??  Usually, the responses she received weren’t so polite in regards to her.. provocative appearance, so she allowed him to silently look her over as she swayed through the narrow isle with light steps ; heels clicking. 

Tip-toeing, she'd reach up to grab an old book, dust pirouetting off the leathered cover & falling into hushed sun rays ; crisp pages turning, echoing through silence as dramatic lashes fluttered to a veil.. “ Oh, don't worry ~ Those books aren't what I'm lookin' for but, thanks darling.”
