American Catholicism

If Saint Leo wants to teach about American Catholicism, don't you think they may have considered other domains of American life than political activity?  That couldn't be more irrelevant to what American life is and how Christian dignity and theology relates and intertwines with American life.  We could have talked about Sports and how the Maccabees had a problem with Jews participating in Gentile Sports, or the protection of National Parks as relative to God expressing Himself in nature via the Hebrew Scriptures.

This isn't the Saint Leo, I remember. . .  there is so much more we may have been able to think about in this course only to have it "peter out" in module 7 with literally nothing else to learn.  Did you get the same assignment prompt?

Maybe I'm just being autistic.  I need to discuss this with the professor's superior at Saint Leo University, because this is ridiculous, and I hope you have more respect for yourself than Saint Leo has for you too.  We deserve graduate level instruction and professionalism, don't you agree?

This is outrageous how poorly and disrespectfully they are treating us.  It almost feels like they are trying to insult the student population on purpose as if Christian Theology was an inferior topic to learn about in higher education.  That's probably just the one trying to force something that he is totally incapable of forcing.

I need to request ADA accommodations. My professor, [redacted] is persecuting and attacking me.  His grading is vicious and erratic, and he has been ignoring me in the discussion board when I asked him to explain why he thought he thought Eucharistic Communion changed at Vatican II.  He left his antagonistic insult as a response to my initial post and implying that Eucharistic Communion is vampiric parasitism used on poor and disabled people (the Christian mystery being Satanism to him it seems).  I was worried about that and asked him to explain. He has totally ignored me. 

Now he gave me a 30% on an assignment with no adherence to academic code of conduct or professional teaching discipline.  

Please help me resolve this problem.  I have a 100 percent totally disabling service connected injury which prevents normal communication withe people like that professor, who is a monstrous evil enemy as far as I can tell!  What is wrong with him!?

Please help me coordinate some sort of mediation so that he will be civil and professional as a graduate level teacher ought.

I get why he might fail me, but this is ridiculous. I'm just not going to turn in another assignment and wait for ADA accommodations. The professor here has made it 100 percent clear beyond any sort of doubt how intolerant he is toward me as a human being.  You maybe gathered that when he expressed his personal opinion about Eucharistic Communion in response to my post in the Module 6 discussion. 

However, I have a 100 percent service connected disability, undiagnosed autism spectrum disorder aggravated by lots of war and killing, and I am alienated from this course because of the intolerance I am experiencing from your professor.  It is myy intention and hope to maintain civility, good behavior, and all that I am supposed to without become unduly passionate, a problem I struggle with daily which has made any sort of normal life impossible.  That is why I am hesitant and reluctant to enter the discussions anymore, with that person lurking for excuses to do violence unto my Life with his "grading" and "insults" (I paid this tuition out of pocket, thank your very much.  I deserve more respect from the employees.  Why did he not answer my question in response to his own?  Read it yourself.  Is he being a teacher?)

He is a vicious, mean, and oppressive tyrant of a teacher savagely failing me with unjust grades as if academic integrity means nothing to him.  I do not trust him with any communication until Saint Leo can find a mediator with civility and human awareness of universal dignity (not the animal minded challenger instinct of the primate that man seems to think is more important than anything else.)

Please accept my apologies as I try to find a workable solution, and it's a shame that we were not able to enjoy graduate level learning together because of the professor's antagonism and unwillingness to be professional.

If you think it's serious enough to be blathering on about politics in a course titled "American Catholicism", perhaps there should be a component about other aspects of American life.

We could have looked at natural landmarks as important to the national interest as well as the Biblical theology of God expressing himself. There is so much more to think about than the pettiness and futility of politics in America, rife with crime, corruption, and dishonesty as they are!
