it's december

i guess my sister really wanted me to get into this blogging thing...so i'm giving it a shot.

she says i need to "introduce myself to the web" so uh. hey internet. i'm december. uh. i like blood crushers (the movie), i like dragon blazers? i think my favorite part of it was disc 4, but i won't spoil it.

i don't really know what i should post on here, elly says to just like. update people on my life? feels kind of weird to tell that kind of stuff to strangers, but she's really adamant about it.

no promises i'll stay on here past when she's had enough.

hi! i'm december! this is both a dess holiday rp blog and my own personal blog.

i'll be tagging out-of-character posts as '#december's ramblings', and in-character posts as '#december's room'. any posts relating to dark worlds, if i decide to make them, will be tagged '#dark night'

my family tends to be really weird, but i don't think anybody quite reaches the level of my mother. she's so extra. my dad tried to take some leftover fruitcake out of the fridge for elly, and before he can even give it to her, she takes a sword off the wall and cuts it??? why do we have a sword in the kitchen? our house is basically christmas-themed, swords don't make sense!! elly thinks it's cool but i just don't get why our mom has to do that.

i think elly told me about it one time... she put a bunch of new stuff in the game (she was really proud of the link four minigame fahaha), i think she even put like, all of us in as "cats".

that family's back. their son and elly are like, hanging out, or something. she dragged him up to her room to show him something about dragon blazers.

oh my angel, she's knocking on the door. i don't want to talk to him.

i wasn't able to hit post before, so i'll just add some more on here. elly managed to drag me into her room to talk to him about blood crushers. he's really afraid of anything horror-adjacent. like, really afraid. worse than elly, but she's just easily startled. he can't handle anything remotely scary.

they made a video game, uh, based on blood crushers. it's pretty short, but on the second-to-last level, this cat thing chases you around this really weird maze that doesn't even show up in the movie. there's a ton of really small and precise entrances that are exactly the same size as your character that kept tripping me and elly up. once you beat the level, it just cuts to a still of that thing's face, and then it cuts to the proper final level.

oh my angel they're finally gone. that was. that was so freaking strange. that boy my age?? he's so weird. weird beyond belief. how does he have friends? elly and him get along but he's just so weird!! i don't have any other words for it...

i get that the church families and i aren't exactly going to see eye-to-eye but he's this perfect little goody-two-shoes. it's honestly horrifying. he's never questioned anything in his life. you could tell him the sun was exploding and he'd believe it.

there's this... family, down the street from us. my parents know them from church, or something. some kind of town event i didn't attend. i guess they have a son my age, and i have to "get to know him" and "stop being such a recluse". okay. they're all coming over for dinner tonight.

elly's in on it too, and it's cute that she cares, but she doesn't really get it. i don't have the room for this right now.
