Perhaps being accustomed to working in the sun, by the surf and the beach, was the cause for the tips of his ears to turn into a bright shade of scarlet and stand out amongst the people on the street. Counting the number of steps it takes within the boundary of each block of pavement, he slowly makes his way towards the agreed meeting spot at a nearby waffle and pancake joint. He struggles to recall the last time he sunk his teeth into the sugary treat, but if he had to guess, it would be almost over half a year considering he was staying out of town during that time. Slipping his hands into the warmth of his thick coat, he pulls out his phone before tapping away with frozen fingertips.

Yumi finally got the DVD in the player, a soft sigh of content soon brushing past her lips as she brushed her fingertips through her dark locks and made her way back to the couch where he was at now — She sat down, bringing her legs to cross one another as she leaned forward and examined all the food he had laid out for the two of them to share. It looked absolutely perfect, and he stomach would agree with her; growling once the scent had crept into her nostrils and got stuck. “Mmm, life is good as long as everything keeps on going as it is right now” — She admitted freely, a smile playing across her features this time around. She was happy with the way things turned out, the way they were still so close. 

“Good food choice,” he countered, grinning at here and winking at her cheekily. He could smell her shampoo and practically feel the heat coming off her body, but they weren’t exactly touching yet, munching on their food happily and just enjoying the movie. He appreciated how easy she was to get along with, how easy they fell back into some old habits and how it was even easier to develop new ones.

I’ve been wanting to do this for a very long time. As I’ve been roleplaying for more than four years now or about that amount of time. I seriously never thought I would stick with it. Thinking this would be a one time try kind of thing only, and yet here I am still here. Truth be told, there were a lot of ups and downs that happened. And for the first time, being Jiae really brought me a lot of great people. I’ve learned who my real friends are, how things can really change drastically. And most importantly, the best part was meeting such great people here on tumblr. People that I’ve just met here as Jiae, or others who I’ve met from my first muse ever. Which brought me the reason into making this post. Having almost 270+ followers: even though there are some where we don’t interact, but admire each other from a far. Some that had small talk threads with my muse, and those who stuck with me through thick and thin. All of you are important to me, whether we’ve talked or not. Through this post, since it’s a new year. I’m hoping to build more friendships and relations for Jiae as well as to thank each and every one of you for your presence here on my dash. For the following I will be putting some special messages who have been with me for these four years, and some people I would love to interact with and admire from a far. Who are aka. senpai worthy.

She had fell asleep and was asleep the entire time, rather than cleaning up and making herself look somewhat decent for the other — Though she didn’t ever have to worry about that with him, he had saw her many times at her best and very worst. Slowly Yumi rolled out of her bed and stood up, her arms stretched above her head as a soft yawn brushed past her nude lips. 

She was beyond happy that he had agreed to come over, every moment she got to spend with him was the best — She somehow felt how she use to each time she was with him. It was almost as if time turned back to when they were younger and things were much simpler. Yumi brought her hand up to brush a few strands of her dark hair back away from her face and behind her ear as she walked down the hallway, making sure everything looked okay enough for the other to occupy her home for the night; Which thankfully it was. 

She looked adorable and he could tell she was just sleeping, because her eyes were blinking rapidly at the sudden exposure to light and since some of her movements that he knew well were slow and prolongued. He brought the plates and plopped down next to her on the couch, opening up the first packs of food, using chopsticks to put some on his and some on her plate  simultaneously, while she wresteled with the remote and the movie settings, chuckling under his breath and starting to eat some of the food.

“Life sure knows how to be good sometimes, doncha think?” he grinned happily, handing her her food when the movie started playing and she sat down right next to him.
