you know, when you're afraid of showing your feelings around other people so much that seeing someone doing it openly makes you irrationally angry? or is it just me?

simon doesn't mean it, of course. he's just scared of being "too hopeful" about his future again. they're gonna be alright.

i think it's important for Simon to be able to do things by himself. be independent, have free will, have a choice. and finally fixing something so personal to him, like the pendant, by his own hand(s)... i hope you get the idea. idk if it makes sense.

also, for some reason Rocky and Simon's relationship is very important to me. Simon is a quick learner, and Rocky would just go like "have liquid and liquid. mix. they become xenonite" but with epoxy. i believe they'd make a great team after getting used to each other.
