Where would Alastor like to be right now? It was a bit of a loaded question. To most anyone else, he’d simply answer ‘anywhere but here,’ but now that Sinistra was on his mind, it was a completely different answer. “Anywhere you want to take me,” He answered after a moment, a smouldering look on his face as he attempted to flirt with her. Alastor was never the charming type, always far too brash to be charismatic. He did try every now and again, though, and it usually seemed to work in his favour.
Nodding his head slowly at her question, Alastor let his eyes move away from her in order to scan the crowd. He wasn’t usually one to speak on business matters outside of the auror office unless it was necessary. He knew that the stalker in question had really shaken her up, and figured it would be okay to give her some information. “We do have two people in our sights, but we don’t have any solid evidence. I was gonna call you into my office once we got some more information.”
Sinistra wanted to regret the game she was playing with Alastor, finding herself attracted to him more than she should, and it was his words that pulled in her. Both palms rested on his chest, glancing up with devious intent. "Is it wise to give me such power, Moody?" It was not and she would do naughty things to him if he allowed her so. There was more than meets the eyes when it came to Sinistra Lowe.
The last thing she wished was to talk business at the wedding, finding it the only way to keep him engaged and attention on her. "You should come by my home. I feel more comfortable discussing manners that like." Her head slants slightly. "That will not be an issue, will it? If gold is any an issue, I have plenty." Sinistra in truth wanted more than the conversation, she had been dying to get her hands on him and the privacy of her home was the best option.
"Shall we get a drink? Or are you unable to take a break?"
The glint in her eyes had already ignited his attention. This witch was as devious as she was beautiful; an old friend, whose mannerisms and tastes were by now predictable. But he hadn't expected that suggestion, though it carved a smirk of opportune proportions across his expression. Her words trailed his skin like sordid honey, sweetly stirring his amusement. Permitting her to pull him forward, he looked down, his laugh fading to a dry chuckle and a dark leer.
"That's the best thing I've heard all night, Sinistra. A pity Alecto didn't ask me herself. But I suppose I'll forgive her, considering the generosity of the invitation." Lowering his eyes from hers, he consumed her figure more brazenly. That flimsy dress really did not leave much to the imagination. He raised a hand, firmly trailing his fingers over her hip to press against her ass, drawing them flush together. "And you wouldn't have asked me if I couldn't," he added as an afterthought, not at all phased by her tease. Leaning forward, he caught her lips with his, congratulating himself on having brought her to this secluded spot away from prying eyes. Not that he would do much more than this. There was no point in spoiling his appetite, after all.
There was not much that would surprise Rabastan. To be able to see the amusement dance in his eyes at the suggestion laid before him, there was no concealing the smirk that graced her lips, a ripple of anticipation down her spine. Salacious hues sparkled under the glimmer of the moon, many sordid thoughts with the three of them tangled in sheets devoured her thoughts. It was the leer that captivated her.
An adrupt thought lingered on the notion that Rabastan had not be indulged by Alecto on the invite, instantly forgotten at the feel of a hand at her hip, an inclination of what was to come. Without protest, Sinistra's body flushed with his, languidly coiling her arms around his neck loosely, slender fingers toying with the hair at the nape of his neck. She could admit that their shared times together never did end in dissatisfaction. Her closest friend in more than the emblematic way, a wizard that she allowed to explore her body in a way that fulfilled their desires; in return he did the same.
"One day there might be a challenge you can't meet." A tease, perhaps an encouragement, muttered against his lips before theirs lock into a passionate kiss, the pleasure that he alone was able to pull from the witch that left her craving for more. Sinistra was not one to shy away from exhibitionism, confided to their hidden position. The restraint that held was knowing that she didn't have to do so for long. The witch pulls back from the kiss, wanton desire etched into her glossy eyes, licking her lips to salvage his taste. "Shall we find Alecto?"
Alecto just smirked at the other. She often handed out compliments like they meant nothing, and most of the time that was the case. Flirting, and being manipulative, it had worked well for her, allowing her to get where she wanted. "You are." And that was her genuine feelings. Sinistra was important to Alecto, and that was not something that she said lightly. Alecto rarely let anyone get too close, at least not emotionally anyway. "So?" She added, with a grin. She didn't care if she was biased.
Alecto just laughed, rolling her eyes. "Sounds like my plan too darling." Not that her parents had given her that much attention. But, she would rather not need to interact with them. If she could also avoid Mrs Lestrange too, it would be good. She laughed again, following her gaze over to Rabastan. "I think we are okay to be biased."
Sinistra slips her arm through Alecto's, leading her away from the crowd of people, giving them some privacy, and to stop prying eyes on them; mostly her parents. "At least we can agree that we enjoy each others company." Knowing there was more than one meaning behind it.
The witch caught sight of Rabastan from the corner of her eyes and felt a smile pull on her lips. "I do think so." There were times she knew that without her friendship with him, she might not be where she is today, especially with her first book. "I must admit, I am inclined to leave soon. Not much has caught my attention."
He was content to let the topic go. It had been at the top of most people's conversation points this evening, and he was tired of repeating the same thoughts. Weddings such as this inspired many things; happiness, hope, pride. But more than anything else, envy and ambition ran riot.
Equally happy to dismiss discussing her suitor - whoever he was - he merely quirked an eyebrow and proceeded with her towards the trees. A few peacocks strutted the grass, paying them no heed as they moved between them and stopped beneath the trees' shady canopy. He looked out at the lake for a moment, relishing the total quiet before Sinistra broke the silence.
"No," he told her as he turned. He met her eyes, his own dull interest colliding with her wickedness. He knew that look. Stepping back to the tree, he paused beside her and rested a palm against the bark. He considered her a moment, then he faintly laughed. "What chaotic terror has she requested?"
Sinistra was quite intrigued with the offer Alecto laid out earlier, one that did not need long to consider. The night now played on when the three of the would be ready to depart for the evening. Their later activities would be much more enthralling than their current situation. That she was certain of.
The witch turns her body to face his, the tip of her nail travelling down the length of his tie, down the centre of his chest, and hooked around the buckle of his belt, leaning in to whisper sultry in his ear. "She asked me to come home with the both of you." A slight purr to her words, leaning back to gaze up at him with mischief written in her eyes. "I must say, I might be a tad afraid that you won't be able to handle the both of us." A teasing tone laced in her words, knowing fully well be could.
A smirk toys on her painted lips. "What do you think Bas, think you can?"

He permitted Sinistra to move him, directing his stare towards her parents before he returned to studying her. Her view on marriage was pessimistic and romantic. By her logic, they were all going to their dooms. She was not the only one whose family sought benefits through unions; that was the whole purpose of the exchange, and he was not exempt from it, either. It was simply a fact. Heartfelt desire was unimportant. "You are too negative, Sinistra. You may yet marry someone worthy of your attention, but let's abandon this topic, indeed."
Holding open the door to the gardens, he allowed her to pass then followed alongside. The fresh air was welcome after the heated crowds of the manor. A light breeze stirred as they walked, and he swept his eyes over the surroundings, ascertaining the best place to walk. "How wise of him to give you what you wanted. At least he listened." With a curtly quiet laugh, he indicated to a patch of trees beside a lake. "Let us go there."
There could be a slight miracle that she may be able to marry someone that she cared for, but keeping to being realistic, she didn't want to get her hopes up to have her parents crush them. "Only time will tell." A simple nod of her head, agreeing that it was best to change the subject, not wanting to ruin the mood, considering it was supposed to be one of joyous celebration.
Sinistra steps outside, passing Rabastan, waiting a moment for him to reach her side before the two of them walk together. "I made it very clear where we stood. He may have been slightly disappointed, but I'm sure he will find one to leave him." She had seen him off conversing with a wizard, and with how close he was to them and the touching, she was certain the two of them would be leaving together.
"Yes," it was secluded and there would be no prying eyes on them, exactly what she was aiming for. Stepping in front of one of the trees, her eyes close for a moment, letting a breeze of air wash over her. "Alecto spoke to me earlier." She turns to face him, eyes opening, a glisten of mischief in them. "You do know what she asked of me?"
Xanthos sighed at the confirmation, he’d thought as much but really, what was he supposed to but fall asleep? Snorting slightly at her continued response, he offered the woman a smile, “Ah, it seems you are the mischief maker then. Sadly I am not here to cause such trouble, lest Rabastan attempt to have my hide tomorrow.” He bent slightly and took the woman’s hand in his own, bringing it to his lips and pressing a chaste kiss there, “Indeed, I am somewhat pleased to see my reputation proceeds me. A please to make your acquaintance, Ms. Lowe.” He released her had and took another (large) swallow from his drink, “If this were a wedding in my homeland there’d be dance lines, throwing the couple into the nearest lake and wrestling by now.”
An amused expression graced her features at the mention of Rabastan and wishing not to be scowled by the wizard in the morning. A hand gingerly placed on his shoulder, leaning up and in to whisperer in his ear. "You can only get in trouble if you get caught, Xanthos." A purr to her words before she pulled back to take a sip of her drink, an innocent facade washing of her features. A sly smirk seeps on her lips at his gentleman qualities showing, appreciating a wizard with those traits. It always made for an interesting time.
"Please call me Sinistra." A beat. "Or Sin, I'm good at those." She winks at him, turning to look out at the crowd. "Welcome to London pureblood society. Tediously boring. Especially high profile weddings like this." Her head twists to look at him. "You learn to make it interesting over time."
Sinistra was an attractive witch, and Alecto really was not against checking her out. She knew technically she should only be seeing her date as a potential suitor for tonight, and someone to take home, but she really did not care. Maybe Sinistra would be more fun than Rabastan would be. "It's lovely." She murmured with a nod. Alecto herself had gone for black. She wasn't really a pastel kind of person. And this dress made her look hot, so she was happy.
"I like flattering my favourite people." Of course, she could only really count her favourite people on one hand, but she genuinely did think Sinistra was on the list. "Oh trust me it is the worst. I thought coming with Rabastan would stop it, but apparently not." And she hated it so much. If only she could punch them like she wanted to. "Oh no." She mused with a little laugh. "Nothing serious anyway." She murmured, with a little flirty smirk on her face. "He's good company though"
Sinistra was not surprised to see Alecto dressed in black, it suited her well, she did think a deep green would have been lovely on the other as well. The witch liked to play with colour. "I'm one of your favourite people?" A sly smirk etches into her features, an idea on why she might be, the two often spending time together, tangled between sheets and limbs. "I feel you might be a little biased." She would be the same in that regard.
"My goal is to ignore my parents for the rest of the night, now that my date is aware that he will be leaving alone." Another show of her parents interfering. Sinistra knew how great of company Rabastan was, considering their friendship and the time they'd spend doing things normal friends would not. "One of the best, though I could be biased again." Her eyes scan until they find him, chatting with a wizard.
"Are lilies not for funerals?" Regarding her smirk with casual familiarity, a grin gradually spread across his lips. "Or is that how you see marriage, Sinistra? Like a nail in a coffin." He didn't mind the tease. They had known each other far too long to be offended by such innocent things - or as innocent as could be found between them. Yet in truth, he knew about her thoughts on her personal future. They were both growing too old, indeed. It was irking that the older he became, the more his parents interfered, as though age brought about a lack of wisdom instead of a growth in it. He was established on his own; a man of his own means, yet he knew his duties and was willing to complete them. He simply did not require parental 'assistance'.
"Of course, if your date will not be too jealous." Smiling pointedly, he gestured towards the doors leading onto the grounds and they began to walk towards them, weaving between the crowd. "Where on earth did you find him, anyway? I have no idea who he is."
"We both know my wedding will be my funeral." The interesting part was that Sinistra wasn't against marriage, as a young witch it was all she dreamed about but that was taken away from her by her parents. Consumed by her beauty and greed, giving them the opportunity to elevate their status through her. Her arm slips around his, turning him in the direction of her parents. "They have been speaking with each family that has an eligible son." Some of the families made her cringe. "I dare say, I did see them talking with yours." She teased. His friendship was the one thing she was grateful for. Something that was entirely her own making. "I feel I'm a little too sober to be having this type of conversation." She was a pawn to her family and had long accepted it.
The witch follows beside him, rolling her eyes at the mention of her date. "My parents. It wouldn't look right if I went alone." A hand waves in the air. "I told him to piss off the second the reception started and he listened." That was his only redeeming quality.
Alastor remained at his post as much as he pssibly could. He was stationed near the front entrance, and needed to ensure that everybody that entered either had an invite, or was the date of an invitation holder. It was honestly a bore, but he figured it was better to be out of the office than in it. It was nice to be able to stretch out his legs every once in awhile.
His eyes locked on to Sinistra as she approached, a half smirk appearing on his lips. She was always beautiful, but the way her dress hugged her curves was just right and it was certainly doing something for him. "It's not where I'd like to be right now," Alastor agreed, "However I'd never complain about being somewhere with you in my line of sight. Are you enjoying the reception?"
Sinistra knew how the dress looked on her, the way it hugged her curves, and the silk would glide across her body with such ease. An illusion for those to wonder about, and oh, how she liked being the centre of ones fantasies. "I'm curious where you'd liked to be." The witch smirks, a hand coming up to run the pad of her finger down the length of his tie.
"Careful Moody, I'm starting to think you are hitting on me." Sinistra would not mind if he was, a hand coming to rest on his chest. "A witch likes a little effort." Now would not be the time, but there was always another night, where she could explore him further. "I am, now." Some truth to her words, but an act was still required of her; she was expecting it to be an act. "Did you ever hear anything more on that stalker I talked to you about?" She wasn't entirely sure if there was one but she could sense one in the shadows.

To be honest weddings were really not her thing. Alecto did not want to get married. At least not yet. Why would she want to chain herself to some man when she was having so much fun? But she knew she had to show up. And at least she was with Rabastan so she knew it would at least be a little exciting. Otherwise, she probably would have been bored. She didn't anticipate that the newly weds could throw a party that she would enjoy.
"Sin. my darling." Alecto murmured with a big smile. She let her eyes drop, checking out the other woman, before returning her gaze to the witch's face. "You do too dear. And Im enjoying myself a lot more now that you are here"
Catching the way that Alecto was looking at her, Sinistra did a little twirl for the redhead, before their gaze met once more. "Thank you. I had help when I was shopping and it does look lovely against my skin tone." Anything to make herself stand out a little more, catch the attention of other witches and wizards. The night was still young and she had no idea who she would leave with.
"There you go, flattering me, I do appreciate it." A seductive smirk on her lips. "You must tell me how we can make this a little more enjoyable? I'm rather tired of older wizards hitting on me." None that she found attractive. "You and Rabastan. Anything I should know?" She noticed that the two of them came together.
It felt peculiar to attend a wedding outside of the war. There had been a flurry of them when the fighting had started, the threat of imminent death a sudden inspiration for continuing bloodlines. Rabastan had not cared for marriage then, committed only to the cause and not to any witch. Now, while he was pleased for Narcissa and Lucius, he looked upon this scene with a shade of mourning: the world should have been better, by now. It was a crying shame.
Still, he would not pass the opportunity to indulge. It would be a great pity to waste the offerings so generously provided, after all. So he lingered in the refreshments pavilion, examining the wares with the air of a man who had far too much choice. Studiously nudging a tray of canapés with the point of his wand, he turned only as Sinistra approached. A smile broached his placid expression, and he placed a hand to her hip as she greeted him.
"If my mother has anything to do with it, probably me," he scoffed, accepting the drink and lowering his gaze appreciatively over her appearance. "I think pink is your colour, Sinistra. You look stunning, as always."
"Considering you brought a date, and Alecto Carrow at that, I'm sure she is already plotting it away. Probably something with lilies." A coy smirk appears on her lips, always pleased with the way she could tease him. Sinistra knew they were getting to that age that their parents would stop allowing them to enjoy their freedom, especially with the war over. "I better get a place in the wedding party." Another tease.
"Thank you Rabastan, you always know I like compliments especially when they come from you." There were a lot of other aspects of her friend she was rather fond of as well. "Think I can steal you away to get some fresh air out in the garden?" She wanted to get away from prying eyes and conversations she wished not to take part in with those undeserving of her time.

The wedding was, well, smaller than he’d expected, but then Greecian weddings were events unto themselves. Nevertheless, Xanthos ensured an entrance was made, flying to the manner upon his winged-horse and dismounting in his blood-red dress robes. He turned to nuzzle the beast’s head with affection before whispering in its ear and sending it flying off again; it would return when he had need.
From there, the ceremony was bland, but well executed and the afterparty felt much the same. Still he laughed, socialised and drank with those of Rabastan’s circle and wondered if the evening would grow more lively as the night wore on. “I wonder,” he said, voice rich and deep as he turned to the nearest person, red wine in hand, “Do all remained so well behaved all evening or will there be some true revelry before the night is through?”
Sinistra noticed the wizard upon his arrival, impressed with the winged horse and found her gaze found his form during the ceremony. She has expected nothing less from the Malfoy's and Black's, and was looking forward to the free alcohol all night. It was the only way she was going to make it through. An attendance was required, though part of her knew her time could be spent better elsewhere.
She had heard about Xanthos from Rabastan, considering how close the two were, and would have to speak to him about why he had not brought the wizard around sooner. A glass of champagne in hand, she found herself stepping into the circle, catching the ending of what was being said and him turning in her direction. "Unfortunately, this group, they are rather," a small pause, "dull." Sinistra didn't know how much longer she'd last herself. "I always find that if you want your own fun, sometimes you have to make it yourself." A sly smile on her lips. "Sinistra Lowe. You must be Xanthos."
Rabastan was a fresh of breath air when it came to the same views they shared about mudbloods and how the polluted the air that they shared. Sinistra refused to acknowledge their existence and whilst they were thrown in her face by the Ministry adamant that they could all live together as one, it would be her mission to continue to remind purebloods on how evil they truly were. They would be their demise if not eliminated.
The parchment tucked away in her bag, a sly smirk twisting at the corners of her mouth. "We have this free speech. They cannot take that away and I have one eager to publish my book." Sinistra was a businesswoman and was always prepared when it came to her work. "I did hear and I am delighted for you. Your family should have never been separated in the first place." A pause, contemplating if she wished to continuing their time together here, or a more private setting. "We must celebrate." A devilish glistened in her eyes. "We could go back to my place."
Sinistra was an old friend. They'd discovered their similarities at a young age, conversations and interactions never going to waste. She had been one of only a few he had trusted, and she remained in that high esteem. Later years had only brought them closer, their war efforts yet another common thread to bind them together.
"Do not underestimate their lack of integrity," he warned, arching an eyebrow mirthlessly. "I would not put it past our government to attempt to limit free speech, just as they have attempted to restrict our right to practise all forms of magic." The Dark Arts were still taboo. Though not illegal, to admit to using them was akin to social suicide. But like Sinistra, he no longer wished to dwell on business. His personal success was far more preferable a topic - as was her suggestion to leave. He knew that look in her eyes, as well as her preferred method of celebration. They would end up in a tangle of limbs, exhausted and sweetly satisfied.
"Could?" Leaning forward, he rested his arms on the table once more. As he met her eyes, he did not conceal the sinful intent that scored his features. "No, my dear. We should. Let us leave now."

Sinistra came with a random wizard, one that was part of this society, losing him seconds the reception started. He could find another to go home with, she had other ideas in mind for herself, and he was not part of it. The witch meandered around the room, finding a familiar face, one that she rather enjoyed their company, and brought him over a drink.
"Rabastan." She kissed both of his cheeks before holding out the drink for him. "You look handsome." He always did, that was nothing new. "I forgot how stuffy these types of crowds could be." Sinistra may agree with their ideals, but the older generation, they bored her with their inability to think outside the box. "That is the last of the Black sister's married off. I wonder who will be next." The thing about pureblood societies, they loved their weddings.

Sinistra was surprised to see that Alastor was doing security at the wedding. She wasn't going to complain, it would give her some entertainment. It was a shame who he was, considering how she found him attractive, leaving her conflicted. Yet, there was a reason for her flirtatious ways, anything to help a friend.
Slender fingers plucked up a fresh glass of champagne before making her way over to the auror. Amber hues look him over, a suit looking very hot on him. "Alastor." A smile on her crimson lips. "I figured this would be the last place I'd find you." Sinistra wasn't going to complain.
