Assassination. It was a task that was given to him as something his parents had high hopes for. His family was notorious for it, to the point where it was obnoxious - to the point where he had ran away. There is no one in existence who wants their entire future planned out for him, he thinks. That was why he had ran away at first. However, it was his older brother who had brought him back. With no reason to leave, he was currently staying at home until he felt like running away again - resuming assassination jobs. His punishment was finally finished and over with, so things resumed as normal with his position in the Zoldyck family.
Luckily for him, his older brother, Illumi, had decided to take on various missions with his newly gained liscence as a hunter. It was unfortunate that Killua wasn't able to become one at the end, but he didn't really have any interest in attaining any title like that, anyways. It was just something to do. Nothing more, nothing less.
However, with Illumi gone, he had taken upon himself to sneak into his room - it was curiosity that as calling to him. Nothing more, nothing less. In the past, he hadn't been able to avoid and dodge the various traps that were laid in the hallway leading into his room. But, he was skilled enough at this point in time to successfully sneak in and make it into the older man's room. "Let's see....--Ah." His brother was interested in reading? Eyeing a black-colored book that laid on his bed, he flips through it. "What the..." He raises an eyebrow. "Geez. Most of this is in another language." Most of it. What was it, anyways...? There were various scribbles and pictures in the novel. Almost as if it was--
Witchcraft? Dark arts? There's no way it could be real, right? This kind of stuff was more people who were incredibly desperate for either something to believe in, or were merely just bored. He scoffs a bit.
.... Though, wasn't he pretty bored?
Turning to a specific page, there was writing that once again, he couldn't read - a drawing, and something thatlooked like instructions that were barely translated into a language that he could make out.
"Virgin's blood...? There are some animal parts mentioned here." He shrugs a little, shutting it. "Sounds pretty gruesome. What the hell was Aniki going to do with this, anyways?"
Looking at the cover, he pauses. ..... It probably didn't mean anything. But, once again, curiosity was getting the better of him, and he had a mission coming up--.....
.... Why not? What could it hurt? It's not like anything was going to happen.
Leaving the room, book in hand, he leaves the room as quietly and swiftly as possible as to not catch anyone's attention. He wouldn't want to get caught.
Finishing up the drawing on the ground in one of the abanoned shacks on Zoldyck ground, he inspects his work. The blood, he had been able to keep from the last mission that he went on.
.... He hated it at this point. Killing was never a huge deal to him, but he was getting pretty tired of it. Ah, man.... Shouldn't he try to run away again....?
But, never mind that. It was finished, anyways. And, at this point, if it was successful, wouldn't it be pretty interesting? Well, whatever was going to be summoned.
He looks to the the circle he had finished, and then the books. "Well, I doubt anything's going to happen, anyways." He repeats his thoughts. Fingers going to the portion that was foreign to him, he begins to recite those lines as instructed by the book, walking around the circle. He was trying to follow it exact, word for word, in order to make what he doubted to be a success, a success.
