open to females/nb plot: you’re my best friend’s girflriend that i have been in love with for ages and you called me to pick you up from this party bc ur bf is out of town 

             it was around one am when noah’s phone started buzzing in his pocket, he pulled it out to find a text from his best friend’s girlfriend asking him to come to pick her up at the party she was at. his friend was out of town for the next few days, and although she was not his responsibility, the male couldn’t help but worry about her, maybe a little too much. not that he could help himself. the male had been attracted to her since the first time hazel brown hues settled on her that same evening he would never forget.but milo had approached her first, he always did. pushing himself off the couch, he reached for his car keys on the coffee table and headed out the door. it didn’t take him long to get there. once outside, he sent her a quick text message to let her know he was there. “is everything alright?” the male questioned, strong eyebrows furrowing slightly at the sight of the familiar figure.

“ i wouldn’t ask you if i didn’t want to know . are you gonna give me a straight answer ? “

“I am calm.” He was, in fact, not. How could he be? Her ex was a lowlife, dirty piece of scum. Still, he forced a cool expression on his face, swallowing the rage. He’d never hurt her. No matter how angry he was or how badly he wanted to run his fist through a wall. “I just don’t understand why you even went to see him? You know he’s toxic. He’s not good for you, right? What happened?” Nate forced the accusing tone from his mouth, replacing it with a compassion not many people often were lucky enough to see.

a heavy sigh left her lips, she knew him well enough to know that he was anything but calm, she didn’t want him to be upset with her but she also couldn’t lie to him ; hence why she was open about the encounter she had. light eyes flickered towards him, arms folding over her chest ; as much as she wanted she couldn’t keep her eyes on him, she was embarrassed about the answer she was about to give, “--- i can’t say no to him and it’s pathetic and no excuse...” she paused teeth sinking into her lower lip, “i’m just scared of him... scared of what will happen the day i do say no.” it’s not like allison would cheat on nate, she may run up to the line but she would never cross it. “nothing happened... he was just telling me he was sorry and that we should try again and i told him i had moved on...”

           “ because you lied to me, you told me you would never see him again. how can i trust you now? “ 

           “and i’m just supposed to believe you? because i don’t.”

“if they already hate you i truly doubt that they could hate you more. plus, it’s not like we are actually related, it could easily be seen that the two of us grew close whilst grieving and found comfort in each other.” it was a scenario he knew most of his close friends and family would fall for and it would be seen that, that was one of the things that had actually ended them up here. finley knew this was wrong, but in his mind it could be way worse, especially given the society he and his father had been apart of. “you shouldn’t feel guilty, mari, it’s natural for two people to find themselves in a circumstance that is complicated but has them feeling things. incase that didn’t make it clear, yes, i feeling the same.”

trevone had no idea that things would get this messy. he had been encased in a bubble for almost a whole year. the inflated period known as the honeymoon stage. he never anticipated that it would pop so quickly, and certainly not in the manner that it has. the truth of callan’s homecoming hit him hard since he had been so persuaded that he wouldn’t return. “i wish i wasn’t even forced to choose. i wish i had the fortitude to remain single and trusted that you would honour the promise you made to me before you left.” he sighed. "when you were given the opportunity to pursue your dreams, you simply looked so happy. simply put, it appeared that i wasn’t the number one reason behind your happiness. i decided to move on since i saw you performing and living your dream, which led me to assume that as long as you were doing that you could be happy with anyone.” he had always been open and unafraid to speak the truth, even if it meant hurting someone. he truly believed that as long as callan was pursuing his dreams, he could be happy with anyone. he sighed; he was beginning to get a little upset since it seemed like they were going back and forth without actually solving their problem. "so callan, what do you want me to do?” his voice went up a notch since he was sure that his boyfriend, who was in the adjacent room, would now hear him if he hadn’t before. “you want me to walk in there and end my relationship. it is not that easy.” he shook his head mentally, pleading with himself to hold back the tears as he saw callan brush away a couple. "i don’t want to shatter his heart because he loves me so much. i know what it’s like to have a broken heart, and i wouldn’t want to subject another person to similar suffering.” as he watched callan approach, his fists clinched at his side; he was on the verge of losing it. right up until callan said his next phrase, he was doing ok. he yelled, "because I love you!” with the knowledge that freddie had probably heard him, and despite his best efforts to avoid it, he had crushed a person’s heart. as he continued, he softened his voice. “i want to try because of that. despite the fact that i’m dating someone else, my heart is not with him. i’ve tired really hard to love him, but my heart has always belonged to you.” he leaned forward till their foreheads were in contact and felt the warmth of the others hand on his cheek. he wasn’t aware that he had started crying in the previous few seconds. "please don’t walk away again callan. i doubt that I could handle that situation again. i need you more than i have ever needed anyone in my life.”

“ thank you for being patient and understanding. ” the brunette seems to bring out the best in atlas, he was never one to express genuine feelings to other people, especially a female. hands securely on her waist, a smile creeping up his lips from the way billie speaks so carefree about skating. “ annoyingly but i will never fall on my ass. that’s for sure. ” boosting himself, even if he does not have a clue how to skate. the closest thing to sport he ever did as a child was shoot guns and lift weights, although he mostly excel in everything he does. this would be a peace of cake. “ c’mon, i’d love to see you on ice. would you be wearing those tight dress that i like so much? the once you use for competition? ” eyebrow raising in a suggestive manner, hands sliding down and resting on top of her ass giving it a light squeeze. not caring if they were in fact still in public . he might as well have a good time while at it. 

it wouldn’t have been a bad thing to see her doing good, thriving and happy with what she worked hard for. even if it was without him but the confession gave him relief. even if it made her dependent on him. atlas couldn’t seem to let go of the vixen no matter how much he fucks up, he just can’t seem to get away. “ i love you more. i’ve been better, business kept me busy. i got a lot going on as of the moment. ” and it was true. he did everything to be buried into work, evading intrusive thoughts of blair. it was painful to. “ is there anything i can do for you? are you alright? ” concerned as to why she called out of the blue. surprised that she even kept his contact after what had transpired. they didn’t have the most healthiest of relationship and running back to each other seems to be a source of comfort – for him at least.
