If we're being honest these were the true main events
RHEA RIPLEY & BIANCA BELAIR WWE WrestleMania 41, April 20th, 2025
It's been like 10 seconds and this match is better than most of last night's card already.
There are countless moments from Rhea's episode of Stephanie's Places that I want to watch again, but right now I can't stop thinking about her anecdote where she revealed that as a teenager, she was doing school projects on the misogyny within WWE and highlighting the way the women were treated differently to the men. It's still relevant today, and while it always saddens me to see how much misogyny and unwarranted hate Rhea faces daily, I'm in awe of her courage. It makes me immensely proud, as a female fan, to know that Rhea has fought against misogyny every step of the way of her career, in the ways she can control. Rhea is unafraid to own (and continue building on) her natural frame - which really is perfect as Steve Austin said - showing young girls and women of all ages that we can be strong and still feminine, embrace our bodies that don't fit society's stereotypes and outdated standards that misogynists and insecure people still promote to this day. Rhea is so unique and authentic in the way she presents herself, but combining that with her passion and desire to prove her doubters wrong... all I can say is that I'm so glad the industry greats recognize it in her and trust her to break down the barriers women face. Rhea's inclusion in the men's division over the years always sent such a powerful message that women can be as talented, strong and capable as the men, which only highlighted her dominance as the leader of the women's division and elevated it to new heights. Speaking of divisions, the moment featuring Cody was so cute! I love that he gets so worked up when Rhea regularly sells more merch than him, but the biggest takeaway was his observation that in the current landscape we have WWE superstars and are slowly moving away from men and women being divided. For Cody, QB1, to say that Rhea isn't restricted to the women's division and is on the same level as the top men in the company, and often exceeds them in ways... she's undeniable. There's many reasons why so many fans gravitate towards Rhea, but I love that despite her aura that Stephanie described, despite being an absolute force of nature, Rhea is someone people can relate to. Her insecurities and struggles are all relatable to people who don't fit a mold, who feel like they are the "other" in anyway. Rhea makes people feel seen. Rhea makes people feel strong. Rhea makes people feel inspired. We are so lucky to have her.
wtf was that absolute ass main event of a match? where were the people? the surprises? wtf did we just watch.

Not Rhea @ing him for the Judgement Day slip up 😂😭
I'll never get tired of hearing WWE legends praise Rhea. She's been on the roster for such a short time, sacrificed and dedicated so much to her craft, proving to be a generational talent in the eyes of the wrestlers she looked up to when she was younger. Hearing it from the likes of 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, The Rock and The Undertaker, just in recent months alone, only solidifies that Rhea, under the age of 30, has made such an enormous impact on the industry and with audiences -which many people can only dream of achieving in their lifetime. Rhea's skill, authenticity, courage and dedication has made her admired and trusted within the company, but when you add all of that to her natural charm, personality and aura - it's like what Austin said today - Rhea has it all, checks every box that a superstar needs... and for him to say he believes she hasn't even peaked yet!? HUGE. Rhea is breaking down barriers for women, encouraging people to wholeheartedly be themselves, and is such an inspirational, strong role model for fans. It's one thing as a female fan to recognize and be thankful for Rhea's impact in WWE, but hearing it from the greatest individuals within the industry is insane. Rhea deserves it all, and I can't imagine how surreal and beautiful it feels to receive such praise and recognition from such talent.
