Let me start of by saying i love Hwang Jung-eum but IMO, she can do subtle humor but not full out comedy.

Kim Hye-jin(Hwang Jung-eum) was a very pretty girl from a rich family. After her family's publishing company went bankrupt, she experienced hardships then lost her beauty too. Ji Sung-joon(Park Seo-joon) was an unattractive boy with low self-esteem, but grows up as a handsome and successful editor. These two decide to meet when Sung joon returns from US. Hye Jin gets nervous about the way she looks and asks her attractive best friend, Ha-ri(Go Joon-hee ) to pretend to be her.

Ha ri has to act till Sung Joon returns to US, but as he has no plans to go back to US now, she continues to pretend while lying to Hye Jin that she never met him after the initial meet.

But, in a twist of fate, Hye Jin gets hired in the company Sung Joon works and gets tagged to his editorial department as an intern.

She meet Shin-hyuk(Siwon) who works as the editor. He constantly pranks her but somehow helps out whenever she is in trouble. he keeps calling her “Jackson”.

Sung Joon, is the deputy chief editor for the The Most magazine and is actually in Korea to bring up the sales of the magazine else the US branch wants to close it down.He criticizes Hye Jinfor  often and hurts her without knowing she is his real childhood friend.

Then he keeps feeling like he knows her and she seems familiar to him while the Hye jin he meets feel like a stranger.

my thoughts - So we have two parallel story lines, one for the romance and one to keep the drama running.they could have cut short the drama to 12 episodes. 16 was a bit over the top and just dragging.

Truth be told i was never got the importance of the magazine and how it would survive and to be honest didnt really care..

But overall, it was sweet and cute.

Noona(mew) has been estranged from father as she thought he was dead, and raised by her mother who is more interested in her own life, Noona yearns to return to her father. She finds  letter from her father and vows to find him and understand why he left her.

Her father, Ram works in a farm owned by Singh(Nadech). She does not confront her father like she planned and instead pleads with Singh to let her work in the farm, though she has not done any form of labour before. She lies and starts working to learn more about her father. Singh often distracts her from her goals;)

Ram is a quite man who lives with the guilt that his mistake cost him losing his wife and daughter. He believes he is not suitable to be a father. He has a soft spot for Noona as she reminds him of his daughter. There is a parallel love arc between him and Nong, Singh's cousin. Nong is very elegant and sweet. She has liked Ram and wishes he would feel the same..

Singh is very strict to his employess but he is fascinated and amused by Noona and her antics and keeps giving her chances without firing her. He knows she is hiding something but cant stop himself from falling for her.

Apart from trying to figure out Noona's secret, Singh is also under a lot of problems with someone stealing timbre from his land. The illegal poachers also endanger his life and try to kill him whenever Singh tries to capture them.
