not to rain on people's parade but #personal opinion incoming!! i don't care about fallout 3 or nv remaster i don't care i hope they never remaster fo3 and/or fnv actually because if they did it would be $70 and a physical copy would never be released and they'd try to make everyone in the game would look uncannily realistic while simultaneously not really achieving it and that'd take away a lot of the charm the games have. i don't give a shit about anything bethesda wants to make until it's a straight up new game and it doesn't have those fuckass dipshit writers trying to turn everything into fallout 4 skyrim powers edition. it's like how disney stopped making fully animated movies and just started making live action remakes because all of their new shit sucks and they can't think of anything people would like other than some other version of what they already like. bethesda stop doing remasters stop doing remakes stop updating and re-releasing your games but worse. make a new game. a good one.

hot take but i think the whole "forcing character relationships into family dynamics" is still annoying when children are involved. no they aren't so siblings no they arent parent&child. they can just be buddies. they don't have to have any sort of family dynamic to be friendly to eachother. it's not taboo for children to have friendly platonic relationships with adults or other children they aren't related to so idk why every child must be someone's sibling or offspring.

Never have I seen someone hate Maximus from the Fallout show where it wasn't obvious they're just racist. "I hate him because he's Brotherhood" and they love Veronica, Sarah Lyons, or Danse. "He's just too awkward to be enjoyable" and they post constantly about Arcade, Curie, Piper, or even fucking Myron. "I just don't like the het ship with Lucy" and they fucking ship Ghoulcy or ship their self insert OC with a character of the opposite gender. And I could actually make this exact post about how people are also hypocritical with their dislike or annoyance of other black characters like Preston and Ulysses. Genuinely hate how normalized being racist is in the Fallout community and how even "progressive" fans never question why they feel the need to justify why they hate any black characters compared to (usually worse written!) white counterparts
